Dolly Parton never stops making new business ideas come to life. She’s about to open the SongTeller Hotel in Nashville. And guess what’s next?
Truck stops.
That’s right, next summer she’s opening Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop in Cornersville, Tennessee. It’s part of a brand-new partnership where her team will take over and rebrand the Tennessean Travel Stop location.
Here’s what Dolly said about it, “I have spent the bulk of my life on the road, and more specifically on a bus. All the years spent visiting greasy spoon cafes, truck stops, and roadside pit stops have given me an understanding of what travelers desire on the road.”
They’re promising modern amenities and curated dining.
Even at her age, Dolly just keeps going strong. She still wakes up at 3:00 a.m. every day. She says, quote, “I don’t want to miss nothing.” What an icon.
