Wise Brothers—-Chattanooga, TN

A man in Florida got caught speeding last week, and the timing couldn’t have been worse.  It was right after a new “super speeder” law went into effect. Florida just added a law that hands down tougher penalties if you’re caught driving over 100 miles an hour.  You can now get up to a MONTH IN JAIL for it.

The law went into effect at 12:01 A.M. last Tuesday.  And the guy got caught doing 104 in a 70 just TWO MINUTES later.  Officials confirmed he was the first person to get ticketed under the new law.

First-time offenders can get 30 days in jail . . . a $500 fine . . . or both.  It’s not clear if they let him off with the fine, but there’s footage of him being handcuffed.  So, maybe not. Either way, he better not get caught super speeding again.  Repeat offenders can get up to 90 days in jail. Click here to see the video of the traffic stop
