The Tennessee Aquarium is offering an array of exciting experiences throughout February, making it an ideal destination for visitors looking to enjoy extended hours, special discounts, and themed events.
From February 1st through 28th, college students, faculty, and staff can take advantage of the annual College Days promotion. This includes half-price admission to the Aquarium, with tickets costing $20 for adults and $15 for youth aged 5–17, while children under five can enter for FREE. To qualify, visitors must present valid college identification, transcripts, or pay stubs at the on-site ticketing centers. Additionally, IMAX documentary film tickets are available for $5, offering an immersive 45-minute experience. During this period, eligible guests also have the opportunity to purchase a discounted Aquarium Membership at 15% off.
The Aquarium is extending its hours on select dates—February 7th, 14th, and 28th—opening from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., with last entries at 7 p.m. On these evenings, visitors can enjoy live bars within the Aquarium, serving beer, wine, and sodas between 4 and 7:30 p.m., with options to tour the exhibits while enjoying beverages. Members and River Society members can access these extended hours without reservations using their membership cards.
February also features special themed events, including a unique adults-only evening on February 13th, titled “Nightlife: It’s a Love Story.” Running from 6 to 9 p.m., the event promises a romantic ambiance with themed drinks, tasty bites, and interactive activities such as friendship bracelet and Valentine-making stations. Guests will also have the chance to learn about animal love languages from the Aquarium’s education team while exploring the River Journey building.
