HITS 96 PRIZE VAULT CONTEST  RULES

 

  1. No Purchase Necessary.
  2. One contest winner per household may win one prize valued 100 dollars or greater per 60 days from WDEF, WDOD or WUUQ.
  3. One contest winner per household may win one prize valued 99 dollars or less per 60 days from WDEF, WDOD or WUUQ.
  4. To win, contestants must listen for the Vault Pass Code given during the hours of 6 am and 10 am EDT from August 25, 2025 to September 5, 2025. Then between the hours of 10 am and 7 pm EDT, contestants must listen for the cue to call and be the ninth caller at 423-642-9636 and be able to give the correct pass code. If the correct pass code is given, contestants will be able to pick from the following prizes, pair of aquarium tickets, approximate value $40 (total of 2 prizes), Pair of Tickets to Imax (total of 2 prizes), approximate value $40, Bowling for 4 to Spare Time, approximate value $100 (total of four prizes), pair of tickets to Dollywood (total of 4 prizes), approximate value $160, pair of tickets to Jessie Murph, approximate value $100 (total of 1 prize), pair of tickets to Soaky Mountain (total of 2 prizes), approximate value $100, pair of tickets to Jonas Brothers in Knoxville (total of 2 prizes), approximate value $100, four tickets to the Creative Discovery Museum, approximate value $50 (total of 1 prize), Pair of tickets to Blink 182, approximate value $100 (total of 2 prizes), pair of tickets to Twenty One Pilots, approximate value $100, (total of 2 prizes).
  5. There is a limited amount of each prize available and once they have all been selected they will no longer be available for selection. 
  6. Contestants may only win one prize from this contest, contestants caught winning more than one will have BOTH PRIZES FORFEITED.
  7. Grand prize winner will be selected from all qualifying prize winners. Grand prize winner will receive a pair of tickets to Tate McRae in Nashville, TN, approximate value $100. 
  8. Grand prize drawing will occur September 5, 2025 at 2615 Broad Street, Chattanooga, TN, 37408 at approximately 5:30 pm EDT. Contestants need not be present to win,
  9. By participating in the contest, the winner consents to the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice for promotion and/or advertising purposes in connection with this contest, WDOD and its sponsors.
  10. If a grand prize is not available, winners will be offered a similarly valued substitute prize.
  11. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions will be made unless the original prize is unavailable.
  12. All winners hold WDOD and participating sponsors harmless for any injury, illness or malady caused by participating in and or winning a prize or prizes as part of any contest.
  13. Jackson Telecasters Inc employees, WDOD of Chattanooga, Inc. employees,their immediate families, and any promotional advertising sponsors are prohibited from winning this contest.
  14. The decision of WDOD shall be final, including matters not specifically addressed in these rules. 
  15. Contests are void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law and are subject to all federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations.
  16. WDOD is not responsible for misdialed or misdirected telephone numbers.  Furthermore, WDOD shall not be held responsible in the event that a contest may not be conducted due to natural or unnatural circumstances.
  17. Prizewinners are responsible for any and all local, state, and federal taxes that apply to prizes individually, or collectively with prizes awarded in the same calendar year from WDOD-AM/FM, WDEF-AM/FM, and/or WUUQ-FM.
  18. Winner must provide his or her Social Security number and must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Release and Waiver of All Liability against the Station, its sponsors, employees and affiliated companies for any injury or loss which may occur from the contestant’s participation in the contest or from the use of any prize which is awarded. Winner must also sign a W-9 form.
  19. WDOD reserves the right to investigate fraudulent claims of winning as well as deny prize awards for violation of any contest rules.
  20. WDOD is not responsible for prizes that are or may become damaged.
  21. All written entries (if applicable) must be legible and must include the contestant’s full name, address, phone number, and age. WDOD and its sponsors are not responsible for any entries that are lost, late, damaged, improperly filled out, misdirected in the mail, misdirected on the internet, or misdirected texts.  
  22. All prizes must be within 10 business days of winning, or prior to show times for live performance prizes.
  23. Prizes not claimed in accordance with these rules will be forfeited and become property of WDOD.
