Australian Bodybuilder Sets New World Record With 733 Pull-Ups In One Hour
Jade Henderson, a 32-year-old Australian bodybuilder, shattered a nearly decade-old Guinness World Record by completing 733 pull-ups in one hour, surpassing the previous mark of 725 set by Eva Clarke in 2016. Henderson averaged more than 12 pull-ups per minute during her record-breaking performance. Henderson told Guinness World Records “I decided to start training for the pull up world record because I liked the idea of doing something that nobody else has ever done. I also wanted to see what my mind and body were physically capable of.” She originally planned to attempt the 24-hour record but changed course after injuring her bicep during training, completing 3,500 pull-ups in 12 hours before tearing her bicep tendon and muscle. Following six weeks of recovery, Henderson focused on the one-hour challenge instead. (Story URL)
