Jon Bon Jovi spoke out about becoming a first-time grandfather to the baby girl adopted by his son Jake and Millie Bobby Brown. The couple, who married last year, confirmed the adoption in August, calling it their “beautiful next chapter.” Jon said meeting the baby instantly made her “your grandchild, your baby.” He admitted he already asks for photos almost daily. Netflix is developing a live-action version of the children’s book Miss Nelson Is Missing, with Melissa McCarthy in the lead role. The story, first published in 1977 by author Harry Allard and illustrator James Marshall, follows students who learn to value their teacher after facing Swamp’s tough classroom rules. MTV has canceled Catfish: The TV Show after nine seasons. The reality series, which investigated deceptive online relationships, ended with Season 9th in July 2024. The network will allow producers to shop the show elsewhere while continuing to air library episodes. Nev Schulman hosted the series based on his 2010 documentary that coined the “catfish” term for online deception. (Story URL)


Netflix will debut a new true-crime documentary about Aileen Wuornos on October 30th. The film, titled Aileen: Queen of the Serial Killers, examines Wuornos’ life and crimes, including the murders of 7 men in Central Florida between 1989 and 1990. The project features archival material, audio interviews, and never-before-seen death row footage. Wuornos was executed in 2002. (Story URL)


Daft Punk is bringing its music to Fortnite, but the duo is not reuniting. Epic Games announced that the in-game Daft Punk Experience begins September 27th. James Van Der Beek missed yesterday’s Dawson’s Creek reunion because of a stomach illness. The actor, who revealed last November he has stage three colorectal cancer, said he was devastated to miss the event but confirmed Lin-Manuel Miranda will read the role of Dawson. Seven charities have ended their links with Sarah Ferguson after a 2011 email to Jeffrey Epstein resurfaced. In the message, the Duchess of York called the convicted sex offender her “supreme friend” and appeared to apologize for publicly criticizing him. The duchess later explained the email was written under pressure, claiming Epstein had threatened legal action. (Story URL)
