Kentucky Woman Receives Human Body Parts Instead Of Ordered Medicine
A Kentucky woman received human arms and fingers in a mail package last week when she expected medicine she had ordered online. Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel reported the woman discovered the body parts after opening her delivery in Hopkinsville. Daniel said the mix-up involved an airline company, freight company, and courier service. The coroner responded to the woman’s residence and transported the body parts to the morgue. The remains will be returned to the courier for proper delivery to their intended destination. According to Daniel, body parts are commonly shipped for transplant procedures or research purposes, though the specific use for these particular parts remains unknown. (Story URL)
