Man Arrested For Throwing Cheeseburger At Tampa Strip Club
A Florida man named Jordan Cotto, 26, faces battery charges after allegedly hurling a cheeseburger at a man outside Atlantis Gentlemen’s Club on Friday night. Police say Cotto arrived at the Tampa-area establishment to speak with management but became involved in a verbal dispute. During the argument, Cotto reportedly “grabbed a cheeseburger from his vehicle” and threw it, striking a male victim on the shoulder and causing “bodily harm.” The victim sustained no serious injuries from the incident. When questioned by officers, Cotto confessed to the crime, stating “he did throw a cheeseburger from his vehicle” and “he would do it again,” according to court documents. Cotto was booked on misdemeanor battery charges and released on his own recognizance. A judge ordered him to avoid contact with the victim but placed no restrictions on cheeseburger possession.
