Woman Who Didn’t Know She Was Pregnant ‘Spontaneously’ Delivers Baby At Burning Man

At the Burning Man festival in Nevada, a woman unexpectedly gave birth to a 3-pound, 9-ounce baby girl in the bathroom of her RV camper. Kayla Thompson told The New York Times she didn’t know she was pregnant and had no pregnancy symptoms. After the birth, her husband Kasey Thompson called for help, and medical personnel arrived to assist. Kayla and the newborn were taken to the Burning Man emergency clinic before being transported to a hospital in Reno. Kasey had to make the “hardest decision” to ride with his wife by ambulance while the baby was airlifted separately.
