The Celebrity Beat…
Usually we don’t get political but this is TOO BIG… One of the most high-stakes bromances is OVER. At least for now.
Elon Musk and President Trump have turned on each other. Big Time.
It all started when Elon criticized Trump’s “big, beautiful bill,” calling it a “disgusting abomination” and saying it’ll explode the deficit. He also suggested people call their representatives in Washington and demand they kill the bill.
Trump’s first response was surprisingly measured. He said, quote, “Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore. I was surprised.”
Elon’s reply to that was more hostile. He said, quote, “Whatever. Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate. Such gratitude.”
Then he went even further … quote, “Time to drop the really big bomb. [Trump] is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
He added, quote, “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump claimed that Elon had been “wearing thin” and was asked to leave the administration.
He said Elon is angry because the bill, quote, “took away his EV Mandate that forced everyone to buy Electric Cars that nobody else wanted.”
Then he offered this not-so-veiled threat: “The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts.”
And now, Elon is floating the possibility of creating a third party that, quote, “actually represents the 80% in the middle.”
It’s not clear if this rift will tear our country, or the Republican party, apart. But it’s sure tearing Kanye West apart. He tweeted, quote, “Broooos please noooooo. We love you both so much.”
