Kelly Clarkson’s Show Is Expected to End After This Season

Kelly Clarkson is expected to call it quits on her daytime talk show after the current, seventh season.

One source says it’s “definite” and another said it’s, quote, “likely that it will not go on… [Her show] is a lot to put on, and looking at the landscape across daytime television, it’s not sustainable anymore.”

It’s probably worth mentioning that Kelly’s contract expires this year.

There were rumors last year that she would leave her show, and could be replaced by Hoda Kotb. It wasn’t clear at the time, but Kelly had taken a leave of absence to care for her ex-husband during his cancer battle. Brandon Blackstock lost that battle with cancer in August.
