The Celebrity Beat…
There’s a fascinating new Kid Rock interview in “Rolling Stone” that asks how he, quote, “went from America’s favorite hard-partying rock star to a MAGA mouthpiece.”
It questions whether Kid’s hard-right turn and incorporation of politics into his music and his stage show are sincere, or a commercial move. Ultimately, it feels like both.
But toward the end of the interview, things get kind of dark, as a totally WASTED Kid Rock waves a gun around, uses the N-word multiple times, and complains about, quote, “Black women having children they can’t afford.”
And as the “Rolling Stone” reporter is leaving, Kid Rock says, quote, “Would you do me a favor? Just write the most horrific article about me. Do it. It helps me.”
But then he adds, quote, “Will you tell everyone that I was halfway cool?”
