Hey Brock,

My ex’s mother, Yes I’m still friends with my ex, is sick. I was talking to my fiance about it and it came up that when she passes, hopefully it’s not for a long time, but when she does, I’d like to attend the funeral.

He flat out told me, “No, absolutely not.” I mentioned that that seemed a little controlling and he flipped out and broke off the engagement because I painted him as controlling.

I love him so much and this just hurts my heart.

Am I in the wrong here?
