Man Pretends To Be Cop By Using Wife’s Homeland Security Car

A man allegedly decided that if you want to feel important, you should be important—or at least borrow your wife’s Homeland Security car and confidence. After calling 911 himself about a suspicious open door, he showed up to the scene right on cue, hopped out of a marked federal vehicle, announced he was Homeland Security, and tried to help clear the house like he was starring in his own action movie. Unfortunately for him, the plot twist came quickly: police realized he was not, in fact, a federal agent—just a guy with a gun permit, his wife’s work car, and way too much main-character energy.
