Man Tries To Steal From Walmart During Shop With A Cop Event
Talk about bad timing. A man in Virginia got arrested after he tried to steal $1,400 worth of stuff from Walmart while a Shop with a Cop event was going on. 32-year-old Hector Maldonado pulled into the parking lot that was filled with 40 marked police cars and still thought it was a great idea to go into the store and try to steal.
A Walmart worker said they saw Hector hiding items and trying to leave the store with them. The cops chased him down and got him in custody. Hector also had active warrants and is now facing a fresh charge for felony grand larceny.
