Matthew Perry’s death was not caused by an overdose of fentanyl or meth. Initial tests showed he didn’t have either drug in his system. The results of more comprehensive tests are still pending, and could take months to come in.
Anonymous sources have said that Matthew was sober at the time of his death, and seemingly in a good place.
Speaking of that, the “mystery woman” Matthew had dinner with the day before his death has come forward. Her name is Athenna Crosby, and she’s a 25-year-old model and entertainment reporter…and a Venezuelan citizen.
She says she and Matthew were just “friends“, and she didn’t plan to talk about it publicly until those pictures hit the Internet.
She says Matthew was in “extremely good spirits” and, quote, “so happy and vibrant,” as he spoke about things he had coming up in his life. He was also excited about losing weight, and playing pickleball the next day.
