McCallie School and GPS Get Festive with Heartfelt Cover of “Blue Christmas”
The McCallie School and Girls Preparatory School have captured the holiday spirit and the attention of music fans with the release of their festive new music video, a heartfelt cover of Elvis Presley‘s classic “Blue Christmas.”
The video, featuring students, has quickly gone popular on social media, amassing tens of thousands of views on Instagram and other platforms.
Recorded and performed by a talented group of McCallie students and staff, “McCallie Presents: Blue Christmas” showcases the school’s vibrant community spirit.
The vocals are led by Sean Clark, set to graduate in 2026, along with GPS students Grayson Friddell (GPS ‘27), Charissa Eastman (GPS ‘28), Aiyana Steadman (GPS ‘28), and Lily Haney (GPS ‘27).
Accompanying the students are McCallie’s dedicated faculty members: Carson Murphy, who also handled drums and bass, and Michael McCallie, the school’s guitar instructor. The audio was expertly mixed and produced by Carson Murphy, adding a polished touch to the heartfelt performance.
