As communities strive to maintain the integrity and quality of life within their neighborhoods, the City of Chattanooga announces the launch of its 2024 Neighborhood Roundtable Series. The inaugural event, scheduled for Monday, April 22nd, will zero in on a topic critical to all residents: codes and zoning enforcement.
Hosted by Neighborhood Services, the Roundtable aims to provide valuable insights into the workings of code enforcement and the Land Development Office. The event will be held from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Washington Hills Community Center located at 4628 Oakwood Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
Officials from Code Enforcement and the Land Development Office will lead discussions, offering an overview of their roles and shedding light on how building, housing, and zoning codes directly impact the quality of life in neighborhoods. Attendees can expect to learn about the intricacies of various codes, their enforcement mechanisms, as well as the citation and court processes.
The event isn’t limited to officials and representatives; it’s open to all members of the public interested in learning more about codes and zoning enforcement. Neighborhood Associations are particularly encouraged to send representatives to engage in the dialogue.
