North Hamilton County’s First Major Recycling Event to Take Place Tomorrow

Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful is gearing up for North Hamilton County’s inaugural major recycling event, slated for tomorrow, April 20th.
The event is set to take place at Soddy Lake Park from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will feature a diverse range of recyclables accepted, including mattresses, e-waste, and even old sneakers.
Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful, in collaboration with Keep Tennessee Beautiful, aims to make recycling more accessible and convenient for the residents of North Hamilton County. This event is not only about cleaning up the environment but also about fostering a sense of community and collective responsibility towards sustainable practices.
Volunteers are being called upon to lend a hand during the event, which promises to be a day filled with camaraderie and environmental stewardship. Lunch and beverages will be provided to all participants.
