Oddstory Brewing Co. and Chattanooga Zoo Collaborate to Support Wildlife

In The Know with Gino…

In a flavorful fusion of craft beer and wildlife conservation, Oddstory Brewing Co. has partnered with the Chattanooga Zoo to introduce Hang Two Mango IPA, a vibrant new brew inspired by the zoo’s beloved two-toed sloth, Boysenberry.

The limited-edition beer features real mango and will be adorned with an illustration of Boysenberry on its can, celebrating the zoo’s newest and most active sloth resident.

Available exclusively at Oddstory’s Central Avenue & E M L King Blvd locations, as well as at the Chattanooga Zoo itself, Hang Two Mango IPA offers beer enthusiasts a tropical, juicy experience while supporting a good cause. A portion of all sales will go directly to help fund the zoo’s conservation and educational initiatives.

Boysenberry, who recently arrived from Portland, Oregon, is notably the first two-toed sloth at Chattanooga Zoo in several years. Nearly eight years old, she defies expectations with her surprisingly energetic demeanor. Two-toed sloths typically spend their days in mango trees, feasting on mangos, leaves, and flowers — a fact that inspired the use of mango in the beer’s recipe.

In addition to the brew, Oddstory Brewing Co. has named Chattanooga Zoo their Nonprofit of the Month for June. Customers at either brewery location can choose to round up their tabs to support the zoo’s ongoing efforts.

Furthermore, the two organizations will team up for a special giveback event on June 12th, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Oddstory’s Central Avenue brewery. The evening will feature zoo ambassadors, including a bearded dragon, turtle, and other animals, giving guests the chance to get up close and personal. Ten percent of the evening’s sales will be donated to Chattanooga Zoo.

Hang Two Mango IPA is a limited run available only at Oddstory Brewing’s locations and Chattanooga Zoo. Fans of tropical flavors and wildlife conservation are encouraged to try the beer while supporting a great cause.
