Olympic Update: 02/11/2026

Team USA snagged five more medals at the Winter Olympics yesterday.  None of them gold, but three were silver.

Cross-country skier Ben Ogden won silver in the Men’s Sprint Classic. We hadn’t won a medal in cross-country in 50 years.  Get the ‘Full Story’ with CBS News.

Freestyle skier Alex Hall grabbed silver in men’s slopestyle. Get his ‘Full Story’ here.

Korey Dropkin and Cory Thiesse took silver in mixed doubles curling.  They lost 6-5 to Sweden in the gold medal match.  USA Today has their ‘Full Story’.

Also, a bronze medal in women’s luge for Ashley Farquharson. She’s just the second American to ever medal in women’s luge. USA Today has the ‘Full Story’.

And alpine skiers Paula Moltzan and Jacqueline Wiles won bronze in the women’s team combined.  Fox has their ‘Full Story’.

Team USA now has 11 medals total… 4 gold, 5 silver, 2 bronze.
