CHATTANOOGA, TN – Today’s “In The Know with Gino“… Rev your engines and get ready for the 56th Annual Chattanooga O’Reilly Auto Parts World of Wheels Custom Auto Show, a dazzling spectacle of automotive craftsmanship that is set to take over the Chattanooga Convention Center from January 5th to 7th.
Organized by McLean Motorsports, this event has earned its reputation as Chattanooga’s premier indoor custom car show, drawing local enthusiasts eager to showcase the fruits of their labor. The weekend will be a celebration of automotive diversity, featuring Hot Rods, Race Cars, Custom Imports, Antique and Classic Cars, Motorcycles, and Special Feature cars.
Enthusiasts from across the nation will converge on Chattanooga, showcasing their vehicles and vying for cash and awards at local, regional, and national levels. The International Show Car Association (ISCA) sanctions the event, with a panel of professional judges from two different states evaluating the exquisite quality and workmanship of the displayed vehicles.
Beyond the gleaming metal and roaring engines, the Gold Star “STREET” Competition offers a unique platform for street-driven custom vehicles. The competition focuses solely on paint, body, interior, and engine, with winners in each class receiving special Gold Star Trophies.
Adding star power to the event are special guests and attractions. WWE Legend Mick Foley is set to grace the Weil Wrecker stage on Friday from 5-8pm, while renowned car builder and TV personality Dave Kindig of Kindigit Designs takes the spotlight on Saturday from 2-3pm & 4-6pm. On Sunday, fans can meet Jerry Mathers, famous for his role as “Beaver” in the iconic TV show “Leave It To Beaver,” from Noon to 3pm.
Car enthusiasts will also have the chance to meet Von Hot Rod, the World Famous Pin Striping Master from Southern California. The Batmobile replica from the 1989 Batman movie, along with characters from the Transformers movies and other beloved TV and movie characters, will be on display, adding an extra layer of excitement.
Prizes will abound throughout the event, with giveaways including an electric bike, tint & sound equipment, a Porsche Driving Experience, a Year of Car Washes from Scenic City Suds, and a gift certificate from Rick Davis Jewelers. Attendees can register at the show all weekend for a chance to win these fantastic prizes.
Tickets for this automotive extravaganza will be available at the door, with admission priced at $18 for adults, $5 for children aged 6-11, and FREE entry for those 5 and under. Adult discount tickets can be purchased at all O’Reilly Auto Parts Stores.
