A petition to rename the Nashville Airport after Dolly Parton is picking up steam.

Which make sense, since Dolly is the Queen of Nashville.

It was put up on Change.Org in January, but it’s really started to pick up some media attention lately.

So instead of the Nashville International Airport, it would be called the Dolly Parton International Airport.  You’d be “Departin’ from Parton.”  And it would be open all hours of the day…not just “9-5″.

So far, the petition has gotten over 47,000 signatures. You can check out the petition, HERE.
