Stay Weather Alert: News Channel 9 Partners with Elder’s Ace Hardware for Weather Radio Event

Chattanooga residents are well aware of the region’s unpredictable weather patterns, making preparedness a top priority for families across the area. To aid in this effort, News Channel 9 has joined forces with Elder’s Ace Hardware to host a special Weather Radio Event tomorrow, Thursday, February 22nd.

The event aims to equip families with the necessary tools to stay informed and safe during severe weather events by offering public alert certified weather radios. These radios can be purchased at Elder’s Ace Hardware locations, where News Channel 9 and Elder’s staff will be on hand to program them for customers. Additionally, batteries will be provided onsite to ensure immediate functionality.
Residents can visit two designated locations in East Ridge and Walden at Elder’s Ace Hardware from 10 am to 7 pm to participate in this crucial event. For every weather radio purchased during the event, Elder’s Ace Hardware has pledged to donate $5 to the Forgotten Child Fund, further contributing to community welfare initiatives.
