Taylor Swift’s Concert Cancelled Amid Terror Threat

According to NBC News, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows in Vienna have been canceled due to what Austrian authorities say was a planned terrorist attack at the concerts. Government officials confirmed that the target was the Ernst Happel Stadium. Swift was supposed to do three performances at the stadium starting on Thursday.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the terror plot. Both of them have said to have been radicalized through the internet by ISIS. NBC News also stated that when the 19 year old suspect was taken in to custody, the Bomb Squad allegedly found a chemical substance. Austrian authorities are attempting to discover if the substance was used in making an explosive device.

Tickets will be refunded within the next 10 days for the concert goers.
