Teachers Asked To Return Money

Teachers have a hard job and are woefully underpaid. So imagine being a teacher and getting an unexpected bonus on your check, but then being asked to return the money because your school district made an error. That is what happened to teachers at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. The extra bonus was actually intended for new teachers but a clerical error sent the money to over 200 teachers across the district. Teachers who received the funds on accident can either pay the money back, $1250, in one lump sum or get put on a payment plan. Honestly the teachers should get to keep the money. They deal with so much each day and that money that they received is a drop in the bucket compared to what they should get on a regular basis.
