The Electric Crocodile Seeks Food Trucks for Saturday Summer Pop-Ups

Food News!

NorthShore Vintage Co-op’s popular Electric Crocodile store (our Chattanooga Madness 2025 Runner Up) is looking to spice up its Saturday shopping experience this spring and summer by partnering with local food trucks. The vintage shop, located on Cherokee Blvd., has announced an open call for food vendors eager to serve up delicious eats to shoppers while they browse.

In a recent social media post, Electric Crocodile expressed enthusiasm for hosting food trucks each Saturday, offering a prime spot right in front of the store. “ISO a food truck set up each Saturday out front of our shop during Spring & Summer,” the post read. “Your food truck would be front and center. We stay very busy on Saturdays. Customers ask us all day where to eat, and that they’d love to eat and keep shopping.”

The store’s owners invite interested food vendors to reach out via Facebook to reserve a spot. There’s no fee to set up, making it an attractive opportunity for local food entrepreneurs to gain exposure and connect with a steady stream of eager shoppers.

Electric Crocodile, along with its neighboring business Local Dive located behind the vintage shop, aims to create an energetic, community-focused shopping environment that encourages customers to enjoy both retail and culinary delights.

This initiative promises to enhance the Saturday shopping experience, offering a win-win for vendors and shoppers alike. Food trucks interested in participating are encouraged to contact Electric Crocodile through their social media to secure their spot and be part of this vibrant summer tradition.
