The Weeknd made a significant donation to the L.A. nonprofit organization School On Wheels to support more than 1,000 students “experiencing homelessness from kindergarten through twelfth grade,” per a press release. The donation will help provide tutoring and literacy tools, mentorship opportunities, and technology assistance. The students will receive laptops, internet access, and software to improve their learning skills and help meet their educational needs. The Weeknd, who is also a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations World Food Programme, recently donated $2.5 million to provide four million meals to Gaza through his XO Humanitarian Fund.
