Here’s a story to make your mom blush: A guy in Canada would like you to take a look at his enormous ZUCCHINI. He’s very proud of it.
Henry D’Angela of Ontario just unveiled what could be the largest zucchini ever grown, a hair under eight-and-a-half feet long. He grew it in his yard near the town of Niagara Falls, and he’s still waiting on the Guinness World Records to verify it.
Oddly enough, the current record holder was also grown by a man in Niagara Falls. So it’s not uncommon for guys there to have big ones.
Henry claims his giant zucchini is 8 feet, 4.79 inches long. The current record is 8 feet, 3.3 inches.
Sadly, he says his massive squash wouldn’t be something you’d want to ingest. He let it grow so long, the outside is extremely hard.
When it comes to edible zucchini, he says a foot long is more ideal.
