TVFCU and Chattanooga Zoo Launch Contest to Name Newest Porcupine Family Member

TVFCU, in collaboration with the Chattanooga Zoo, has launched an exciting contest inviting the community to name the newest addition to the Prickles Family, the resident African Cape porcupines at the zoo. The adorable porcupette has captured the hearts of visitors and staff alike, but now it’s time for the public to get involved in giving this little one a fitting name.

So far the family consists of Tommy, Pookie, Penny, and Dill. Twin siblings have just been born; one is named Nickel and the other needs to be named by YOU!

The contest will run until 5 p.m. on Monday, February 5th. Participants are encouraged to submit their creative name suggestions HERE. Whether it’s a traditional name, a playful moniker, or something inspired by the porcupine’s characteristics, all ideas are welcome.
