TVFCU Announces Finalists for 9th Annual Idea Leap Competition

On The Afternoon Show, Marcus Kade-Johnson, Director of Corporate Engagement at TVFCU, joined Gino D to unveil the finalists for the 9th Annual Idea Leap Competition, celebrating local small businesses across the region.

Congratulations are in order for the 15 innovative businesses that have made it to the final round! These entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their visions during National Small Business Week, with a chance to win substantial cash prizes to support their growth and community impact.

Prize Structure and Regional Events:

Each region will crown a winner—awarding $30,000—to help fuel their business ambitions, with second place securing $15,000, and other finalists taking home $10,000 each. The competition will feature live pitch events across the region, giving local businesses a platform to showcase their ideas.

NW Georgia Region: Monday, May 4 at 11 a.m. on Local 3 News
Ocoee Region: Tuesday, May 5 at 11 a.m. on Local 3 News
Chattanooga Region: Thursday, May 7 LIVE at The Signal, Downtown Chattanooga
