Vladimir Putin got the ultimate Father’s Day shoutout:  an invite to hang with Vin Diesel?!

Putin must’ve been on Diesel’s mind, because in a bizarre Instagram post he offered to meet the Russian president for dinner in the Caribbean.

He said, quote, “I saw warships off my country’s shores.  Hmmm.  I’m not the Tucker type…As a father my kids live in that country.  Hmmm.  Putin, I will fly to the Caribbean… Come have dinner.  Let’s not let foolishness dictate the future.  #happyfathersday.”

Of course, Diesel has since EDITED the post’s caption, and removed any mention of Putin.  So it looks like the offer is now OFF the table.
