What Are Your Biggest Travel Pet Peeves?

You know how travel is supposed to be relaxing?  Like, that’s the whole point?  But what about all the annoying things that happen?  Because it never goes smoothly… something weird always comes up.

So, according to a recent survey, here are the Top Ten Travel Pet Peeves:

1.  Kids kicking the seat in front of them.

2.  People that ignore your personal space.

3.  Anyone that uses speakerphone, or talks loudly on the phone.

4.  Treating the flight attendants rudely.

5.  Playing music without headphones.

6.  Hogging the armrests.

7.  Reclining your seat as far as it can go.  

8.  Taking off your shoes.  And if you take off your socks, it should mean jail time.

9.  Using up more overhead space than you’re allowed.

10.  Having someone fall asleep on you.  Three in ten Americans say they’ve had a stranger fall asleep on them during a flight. 

But to help us cope with the stress, the survey also revealed our top travel “must-haves.”  They are: snacks… hand sanitizer… refillable water bottles … a neck pillow… and tissues.
