What Did These Celebrities Buy With Their First Big Paychecks?

Unless you’re super disciplined, the first thing you do with your first big paycheck is buy something.  Sometimes it’s something big, sometimes not.

Here’s what various celebs splurged on when they finally started making big bucks:

1.  America Ferrera:  A used 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage for $12,000.

2.  Donald Glover:  Gushers. Quote, “I wasn’t allowed to have candy as a kid, so I was like, “I’m ballin’.”

3.  Kerry Washington:  Her first laptop.

4.  Jennifer Lopez:  A Mercedes.

5.  Nicole Kidman:  “Quote, “The coolest boots I had ever seen in my life.”  She also got her mom and dad a washing machine.

6.  Tiffany Haddish:  A big box of Snickers and lollipops, Jolly Rancher sticks, Blow Pops, and Corn Nuts.  Her first check was $120.

7.  Brad Pitt:  A period Craftsman chair and a Frank Lloyd Wright–wannabe lamp.

8.  Tom Cruise:  His sister’s college tuition.  Then with his next check, he bought his other sister a car.

9.  LaKeith Stanfield and Issa Rae each bought themselves a Tesla.

10.  Rami Malek:  A personal espresso machine.

11.  Lil Nas X took his family bowling.

12.  Brie Larson:  A blue electric guitar.
