In celebration of National Go Skate Day, Outdoor Chattanooga invites the community for a day of skating fun on Saturday, June 22nd. Starting at 9:30 a.m., the event promises an exciting lineup of activities including FREE skateboard classes, live music, delicious food, a skate deck giveaway, and an exclusive preview of plans for a new skate park.
Outdoor Chattanooga is pulling out all the stops to honor the local skateboarding community. The day kicks off with a free “Learn to Skateboard” class. Interested participants are encouraged to RSVP to secure their spot. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class offers the perfect opportunity to get rolling under the guidance of experienced instructors.
The celebration continues with family-friendly activities designed to bring the community together. Attendees can groove to live music, enjoy a variety of snacks, and enter a raffle to win a unique skateboard deck. This year, the skate deck is particularly special, featuring a custom design by a talented student from Hamilton County High School.
