Are you a regular bus rider in Chattanooga? The Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) is encouraging residents to share their ideas on how to enhance local transit services — and as an incentive, they’re offering a month of FREE bus rides for feedback.

As part of its ongoing efforts to improve public transportation, CARTA is inviting community members to participate in its third Rider Advisory Committee. This committee provides a platform for residents to suggest service improvements and offer advice on upcoming projects.

The upcoming meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 4th, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the New Mount Carmel Baptist Church, located at 1616 Washington Street. Attendees will have free parking at the venue, and the location is accessible via CARTA’s Fixed Route #9 to East Lake.

The event is open to the public, and those interested are asked to RSVP by emailing BrandonMeredith@gocarta.org. As a thank-you for participating, all attendees will receive a FREE 31-day bus pass upon the conclusion of the meeting.

This is a great opportunity for local residents to influence transit services in Chattanooga while enjoying a free month of travel. Don’t miss your chance to make your voice heard and help shape the future of public transportation in the area.
