A Guy Assaulted a LongHorn Steakhouse Employee for Not Letting His Dog Eat at the Table

A guy in North Carolina is facing charges for assaulting a restaurant worker . . . because they wouldn’t let him feed his dog at the table. 49-year-old Gary Sholar was eating at a LongHorn Steakhouse in Wilmington last month, and he’d brought his dog along.

It’s not clear if it’s a service dog or what.  But an employee told him that feeding his dog at the table was a health code violation.  And he responded by chucking a PLATE at their head. He allegedly started screaming obscenities and insulting them.  So they told him to leave, and he threw a porcelain plate.

He must have thrown it pretty hard, because they ended up with a fractured skull and needed seven stiches to close the wound. It happened July 23rd, but cops arrested him last week.  He’s facing a charge of assault that inflicted serious injuries.
