'WHITE LOTUS' CAST MEMBER RETURNS FOR SEASON 3: Natasha Rothwell is returning to the White Lotus. The Season 1 star, who played the spa manager of the Hawaiian White Lotus resort, will reprise her role as Belinda Lindsey for Season 3.

JENNIFER HUDSON TO INTERIEW KAMALA HARRIS: Jennifer Hudson will interview Vice President Kamala Harris Thursday (April 20th). According to The Hollywood Reporter, the appearance will mark the first time an elected national leader has been a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

Stars such as Viola Davis, Kerry Washington, Jennifer Hudson, and Halle Berry have all taken to social media to bring attention to the shooting of Ralph Yarl, a Black teenager who was tragically shot in the head by a white man after he rang the wrong doorbell last week.

"His name is #RalphYarl and I'm sick and tired of this feeling…my heart completely broke when I learned this precious 16-year-old, who accidentally rang the door of the wrong address in an attempt to pick up his siblings, was shot in the head," Berry wrote on Twitter.

The Monster's Ball actress added, "This innocent child is now fighting for his life. This could be your child. This should NOT happen."

Hudson tweeted a photo of Yarl and wrote, "My God !!! Heartbroken for this young man and his family. Praying for his complete recovery ! #RalphYarl."

Davis and Washington each shared calls to action to their pages. "Instead of waiting around for #LoveIsBlind…make a phone call. For #RalphYarl," Washington wrote on Twitter. "Demand that Prosecutor Zachary Thompson make an arrest and bring the appropriate charges."

Speaking with Women's Health for their April cover story, Hayden Panettiere detailed the unsettling symptoms she experienced while battling an addiction to alcohol and opioids.

Panettiere shared that she became especially dependent on these substances as she struggled with postpartum depression and a neck injury in 2014. "I was in a lot of pain," the Heroes actress said. "My tolerance got so high so fast that it became a problem."

At one point, she said her body "was like, ‘enough.'" The Remember the Titans actress added, "I hit 30. My face was swollen. I had jaundice. My eyes were yellow. I had to go to a liver specialist. I was holding on to weight that wasn't normally there. My hair was thin and coming out in clumps."

After enrolling in 12-step program and receiving trauma therapy, the Scream actress relayed that she is in a better place now. "I did a lot of work on myself," she told the outlet. "After eight months of intensive therapy, I felt like I had this blank canvas to work with."

Mike & Molly actor Billy Gardell told Entertainment Tonight in a recent interview that he no longer has type 2 diabetes after losing more than 150 pounds since the start of the pandemic.

"No diabetes, resting heartbeat went from 113 to 68. Walking around pretty healthy these days," he told the outlet. "I think you got to find peace with yourself and at some point, look in the mirror and go you know, it's probably time to take care of you … I didn't get that note early on. So I'm a big believer that when you get it, you get it. It doesn't matter when. As long as you get it."

Gardell added that he's tired of hearing other people's opinions when it comes to his body. "Of course, there's always people online that, you know, when I was heavy, they were like 'You're too heavy!' And now it's like, 'Are you sick?' Can I just walk the earth, please?!" he said.

Nicolas Cage's time on the set of the 1988 film Vampire's Kiss sounds like an episode of Fear Factor. In a recent interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, the National Treasure actor said he ate two cockroaches while filming the movie.

"Oh yeah, I ate it twice, because the director did it just to prank me," Cage said, when the interviewer asked about a scene in which he eats the insect. "I ate cockroaches. I'll never do that again. I'm sorry I did it at all," he said.

Cage's Renfield costar Nicholas Hoult also ate bugs on the set of their new film, but "the cockroaches I got to eat in this were caramel," Hoult commented. While Cage found Hoult eating potato bugs for Renfeild to be "terrifying," the Face/Off actor added that a diet including insects could help fight world hunger.

"If you could get rid of your fear, your phobia of eating insects you could solve world starvation," he said. "High protein, no fat, excellent nutrients, abundance — they're everywhere. I mean, why not? But nope. Not gonna happen."

This comes after Majors was arrested on domestic violence charges in March. He is expected to appear in court in New York City on May 8th.

MARK CONSUELOS COMMENTS ON FIRST EPISODE OF ‘LIVE' FOLLOWING NEGATIVE REVIEWS: According to Page Six, there have been quite a few scathing reviews of the first episodes of Live with Kelly and Mark, with some calling the couple's dynamic "brutal." Despite this, Mark Consuelos told Us Weekly Monday (April 17th), "This show today truly felt like home … I always feel at home with Kelly, but working together this morning just felt so right." He added, "I can't wait to see where we can go from here." Consuelos is co-hosting the show following Ryan Seacrest's departure. Seacrest co-hosted alongside Kelly Ripa for six years.

MICHELLE YEOH TO STAR IN ‘STAR TREK: SECTION 31' SPINOFF FILM: Entertainment Tonight reports that Michelle Yeoh is returning to the Star Trek franchise. The Everything Everywhere All at Once star will be reprising her role as Emperor Philippa Georgiou in a new movie titled Star Trek: Section 31. According to Paramount+, the film will pick up shortly after her character's departure from Star Trek: Discovery, as she "joins a secret division of Starfleet tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets and faces the sins of her past."

Jamie Foxx is still in the hospital following the "medical complication" he experienced last week. The Ray actor is at a medical facility in Georgia, where doctors are trying to discover the cause of the incident.

"They are running tests and still trying to figure out what exactly happened," a source told CNN. Foxx has been in Atlanta filming his new movie Back in Action with Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close. The "medical complication" did not occur on set.

On Friday (April 14th), a source told People that Foxx was "steadily improving," after his family announced the health scare via social media earlier in the week.

His daughter Corinne wrote in a statement, "We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers."

Following the release of the new Netflix show Beef, a video resurfaced in which cast member David Choe describes himself sexually assaulting a massage therapist. Many took to Twitter to denounce the actor and call for a boycott of the show.

In the clip, which has since been taken down from Twitter "in response to a report from the copyright holder," Choe referred to himself as a "successful rapist" and detailed forcing a massage therapist to give him oral sex.

"The thrill of possibly going to jail, you know, that's what achieved the erection quest," he said at the time. A month after the video was first released, Choe claimed that it was an "edgy" joke.

"Four episodes in, but after listening to this, I'll call it a season. I can't support this project. And yes, one person CAN ruin an entire show or experience. #BEEFNetflix @netflix," one Twitter user wrote.

Another commented, "This is sick and disturbing and we wonder why rape culture thrives … I had Beef on the list to watch but nah #BoycottBeef @netflix do better."

"I can confirm that the LAPD has presented a case regarding Armie Hammer to the LADA. The matter is currently under review," a representative for the DA's office told CNN Monday (April 17th). This comes after a woman named Effie accused the Call Me By Your Name actor of "violently" raping her and "mentally, emotionally and sexually" abusing her in 2017 during a press conference in 2021.

REPORT SHOWS F. MURRAY ABRAHAM WAS FIRED FROM ‘MYTHIC QUEST' DUE TO SEXUAL MISCONDUCT: According to a report by Rolling Stone, F. Murray Abraham was fired from the Apple TV+ series Mythic Quest after at least two sexual misconduct complaints were filed against him. The White Lotus star's exit was announced last April. "We take allegations of misconduct seriously and investigate them thoroughly," Lionsgate said in a statement. "As a matter of corporate policy, we do not discuss personnel actions."

WRITERS GUILD OF AMERICA MEMBERS VOTE TO AUTHORIZE STRIKE: According to The Los Angeles Times, members of the Writers Guild of America voted 98% to 2% in favor of a strike authorization. This means that union leaders can call for a strike if they are unable to reach a deal on a new film and television contract. "You have expressed your collective strength, solidarity, and the demand for meaningful change in overwhelming numbers," the WGA said in a statement to its members. "Armed with this demonstration of unity and resolve, we will continue to work at the negotiating table to achieve a fair contract for all writers."

Morgan Freeman is speaking his mind about some commonly used terminology. During a recent interview with The Sunday Times, the Good Person actor shared that he finds "Black History Month" and the term "African-American" to be insulting.

"Black History Month is an insult. You're going to relegate my history to a month?" he told the outlet.

Freeman added, "Also ‘African-American' is an insult. I don't subscribe to that title. Black people have had different titles all the way back to the n-word and I do not know how these things get such a grip, but everyone uses ‘African-American'. What does it really mean? Most black people in this part of the world are mongrels. And you say Africa as if it's a country when it's a continent, like Europe."

ANGUS CLOUD'S FORMER MANAGER DETAILS ‘EUPHORIA' STAR'S ALLEGED DRUG ADDICTION: Diomi Cordero, the former talent manager for Euphoria star Angus Cloud, took to Twitter on Friday (April 14th) to detail Cloud's alleged drug abuse through a lengthy thread. Cordero said the pair first met in a rehab clinic while he was working as a "mental health technician." They started working together professionally in April of 2021, but Cordero said that by November of 2021, Cloud had "evidently relinquished control of his addiction." Cordero added, "On February 21st 2022, | resigned as Angus Cloud's talent manager. My decision to resign was prompted by Angus' verbal abuse, emotional distress & severe drug addiction, which rendered it impossible for me to continue my professional relationship with him."

JENNIFER GARNER SAYS ‘ALL WOMEN IN THIS TOWN OWE A DEBT OF GRATITUDE' TO REESE WITHERSPOON FOR HER PRODUCTION COMPANY: Jennifer Garner spoke with The Hollywood Reporter at the premiere for her new Apple TV+ show The Last Thing He Told Me. Garner executive produced the show alongside Reese Witherspoon, and shared that she's been getting more involved behind-the-scenes in recent years thanks to the Legally Blonde star. "Honestly, Reese is behind that, she has really pushed me. She said to me a few years ago, ‘Nobody is sitting around thinking, what can I shoot in L.A. that's going to have a 50-year-old woman in it?' She's like, ‘You've got to create your own stuff,'" Garner said. "All women in this town owe a debt of gratitude to Reese."

ELIJAH WOOD COMMENTS ON NEW ‘LORD OF THE RINGS' MOVIES: Elijah Wood told GQ in a recent interview that he's "fascinated" and "surprised" by Warner Bros. announcing the development of more Lord of the Rings movies. "Obviously at the core of that, is a desire to make a lot of money," he said. "It's not that a bunch of executives are like, ‘Let's make really awesome art.' And, again, not begrudging anybody because, of course, it is commerce. But great art can come from commerce. So those two things are not mutually exclusive." Wood added that Peter Jackson's trilogy "came out of a passion for these books and wanting to see them realized," and he hopes that the new movies will be made "with reverence for Tolkien's material and enthusiasm to explore it."

CHECK OUT THE TRAILER FOR ‘BUPKIS:' On Friday (April 14th), Peacock released the official trailer for the upcoming series Bupkis, starring Pete Davidson. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show is "a new comedy following Pete Davidson as he attempts to work through unique family dynamics and the complexities of fame to form meaningful relationships. The raw, semi-autobiographical series stars Davidson, Edie Falco and Joe Pesci alongside a star-studded supporting cast in a show that straddles reality and absurdity to best represent what it is to be Pete Davidson." Bupkis is set to premiere on the streaming platform on May 4th.

WENDY WILLIAMS ‘IS FILMING' A NEW PROJECT BUT ‘IT IS DEFINITELY NOT A REALITY SHOW:' Wendy Williams' rep Shawn Zanotti spoke with Page Six on Friday (April 14th) about the former talk show host's new project. "Getting back to what she loves is something that is important to her. Yes, Wendy is filming…Yes, she is gearing up for something and the specifics of that can't be disclosed as of yet," he said. "It is definitely not a reality show." The comes after Williams was spotted filming at a restaurant in New York City earlier this year.

Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are so close that they're currently promoting a show called Brother From Another Mother – but is it possible the True Detective costars really are related?

McConaughey recently revealed on Kelly Ripa's Let's Talk Off Camera podcast that he's pretty sure his mom and Harrelson's dad hooked up.

The Oscar winner said, "In Greece a few years ago, we're sitting around talking about how close we are and our families. And my mom is there, and she says, ‘Woody, I knew your dad.' Everyone was aware of the ellipses that my mom left after ‘knew.' It was a loaded K-N-E-W."

He continued, "We went on to unpack what this ‘knew' meant and did some math and found out that Harrelson's dad was on furlough at the same time that my mom and dad were in their second divorce. Then there's possible receipts and places out in West Texas where there might have been a gathering, or a meeting, or a ‘knew' moment."

The actors have not yet decided to take a DNA test to get proof about a potential family connection between them.
