While promoting his documentary Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie at South by Southwest on Tuesday (March 14th), Michael J. Fox discussed how his Parkinson's diagnosis has affected his life. "Parkinson's sucks — but it's a great life," he said.

The Back to the Future actor received his diagnosis when he was just 29 years old in 1991. "I have no regrets," Fox said. "You do what you have to do, but you do not want to kill yourself. And that's when I stopped."

The Family Ties actor added, "Pity is a benign form of abuse. I can feel sorry for myself, but I don't have time for that … There is stuff to be learned from this, so let's do that and move on."

Netflix's Addams Family spinoff Wednesday turned out to be a big hit, and Jenna Ortega shared with U.K.'s The Times recently that she almost didn't star in it.

"I got the email, passed on it," she told the outlet. "I had done so much TV in my life. All I've ever wanted to do is film … You have to prove yourself. It's only in the last three or four years that I've been able to start going up for film. I was scared that by signing on to another television show it could prevent me from doing other jobs I really wanted and cared about."

She continued, "The only reason I went back is because Tim Burton, director and executive producer of ‘Wednesday' is such a legend, and we just happened to get along very well. But even then I said, ‘Ah, no — I think I'm OK,' a couple more times."

The Scream actress added that she didn't think many people would watch the series. "I thought it wasn't going to be watched," she added. "That it will be a nice little gem that someone finds, but most people don't."

He may have been designated the sexiest man alive according to Dr. Julian De Silva's use of the Greek Golden Ratio earlier this year, but Rege-Jean Page told Stephen Colbert Tuesday (March 14th) that his breath was "horrendous" on the set of Bridgerton.

"What no one knows about Bridgerton," he said on The Late Show, "was that Phoebe and I had horrendous coffee breath the whole way through." Page shared that he and Phoebe Dynevor communicated about what food was okay to consume before shooting their scenes together.

"You approach your other actor and go, 'Hey, so the scenes after lunch, what are our rules? Are we no onions? Are we no garlic? Do I have to get the coffee in early?'" he said.

The For the People actor added, "We both are like, 'I actually really like coffee so I don't mind,'" and that it became their "coffee safe space" for the rest of the season.

KYLE CHRISLEY IS ARRESTED FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Two months after Todd and Julie Chrisley reported to prison, their son Kyle Chrisley was arrested in Tennessee. Kyle was booked for felony aggravated assault before posting bond set at $3,000 on Tuesday (March 14th). TMZ reports that, according to Smyrna police, his boss claims he threatened to kill him before beating him up. Kyle also allegedly had a fixed-blade knife.

MATTHEW LAWRENCE CLARIFIES COMMENTS ABOUT WANTING KIDS WITH ROZONDA ‘CHILLI' THOMAS: In an interview with E! News published Wednesday (March 15th), Matthew Lawrence amended the comments he made earlier this month about planning to have kids with TLC's Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. Speaking about his older brother, Joey Lawrence, he said, "Joe and I were commiserating about this plan that we had to have children together … when we were growing up. And I missed the first go-around and now he's starting a new family and I was thinking, ‘Man, it'd be great if we could do it again, when I didn't have the chance to raise a family together,'" he said. "So that's what I meant by that … I didn't mean to put any pressure on somebody I was dating or anything."

CHET HANKS AND ERIC ANDRE ARE FEUDING: Tom Hanks' son, Chet Hanks, and Two Broke Girls actor Eric Andre appear to be beefing. During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Andre said Chet was "dangerous" while on the set of The Eric Andre Show. "He is… emotionally disturbed. He stole a motorcycle and rode it around. He almost knocked a bunch of grips and gaffers off their ladders," André said. "He's not well. How did Colin Hanks come out so good and Chet Hanks come out so bad?" DREW BARRYMORE TO HOST THE 2023 MTV MOVIE AND TV AWARDS: On Wednesday (March 15th) MTV announced that Drew Barrymore will host the 2023 MTV Movie and TV Awards. In the Instagram video announcement, Barrymore dresses up as M3GAN and is joined by Cocaine Bear and Scream's Ghostface. "It is going to be an epic night. WHOOPI GOLDBERG APOLOGIZES FOR USING ROMANI SLUR ON ‘THE VIEW:' Whoopi Goldberg is apologizing for using a Romani slur on Wednesday's (March 15th) episode of The View. During the show, she said about Donald Trump: "People who still believe that he got, you know, gy—d somehow in the election." In a video shared to The View's Twitter page, the Ghost actress apologized. According to Entertainment Tonight, host Jesse Palmer asked Lawson to choose between The Bachelorette or Bachelor in Paradise while playing a game of "this or that." RYAN REYNOLDS SELLS MINT MOBILE TO T-MOBILE: On Wednesday (March 15th), Ryan Reynolds and T-Mobile released a joint statement announcing that the company has acquired the Deadpool actor's phone company Mint Mobile. "Mint Mobile is the best deal in wireless and today's news only enhances our ability to deliver for our customers," the statement said. "We are so happy T-Mobile beat out an aggressive last-minute bid from my mom Tammy Reynolds as we believe the excellence of their 5G network will provide a better strategic fit than my mom's slightly-above-average mahjong skills. In Paris Hilton's highly anticipated book Paris: The Memoir, published on Tuesday (March 14th), the Simple Life star reveals that she was groomed by an eighth-grade teacher.

Hilton said the "handsome young" teacher was nicknamed "Mr. Abercrombie," and that he told her he had a "crush" on her when she was in her early teens. She writes that he gave her his number and told her to keep their relationship a secret.

"Mr. Abercrombie called me almost every night, and we talked for hours about how amazingly mature, beautiful and intelligent I was, how sensual, misunderstood and special," she writes.

ANDY COHEN ISSUES PSA ABOUT UPCOMING EPISODE OF ‘VANDERPUMP RULES:' Following all of the Scandoval drama that has unfolded recently, Andy Cohen announced on SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live that Wednesday's (March 15th) episode of Vanderpump Rules is "shocking." He wanted fans to know that footage of a conversation between Raquel Leviss, Lala Kent, and Katie Maloney "was not touched." The Watch What Happens Live host said, "Guys, you're going to watch Wednesday's episode. You are going to think that it was recut. Okay? It was not recut. This was the episode." MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY AND WOODY HARRELSON WILL REUNITE FOR NEW COMEDY SERIES: Deadline reports that True Detective stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson will be together again in a forthcoming Apple TV+ series by The Big Door Prize creator David West Read. The series centers on the pair's "strange and beautiful bond," which is "tested when their combined families attempt to live together on Matthew's ranch in Texas."

ANDREW GARFIELD AND FLORENCE PUGH TO STAR IN ‘WE LIVE IN TIME:' According to The Hollywood Reporter, Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh are set to star in a StudioCanal love story titled We Live In Time. This comes after the pair presented together at the 95th Academy Awards, which fans couldn't get enough of. Viewers were surprised to see that actors such as Paul Sorvino, Leslie Jordan, and Anne Heche were left out of the "In Memoriam" segment at the Oscars on Sunday night (March 12th). Even Charlbi Dean was missing from the segment, and she played the lead in Triangle of Sadness, which was nominated for Best Picture.

Romy and Michele's High School Reunion star Mira Sorvino commented on the lack of a tribute for her father. "Paul Sorvino was one of the greatest actors in cinematic history in Hollywood. It is unconscionable that he would be left out of the In Memoriam segment of the Oscars," she said in a statement on Monday (March 13th). "It's a three-hour show, they can't give a couple more minutes to get it right? Paul Sorvino gave decades to this industry and was loved by all."

Paul's wife Dee Dee added, "Paul was not the only deserving soul left out, and a QR Code is not acceptable. The Academy needs to issue an apology, admit the mistake and do better. Paul Sorvino deserves better, the audience deserves better. Is the Academy so jaded they forget people who are loved, who have given their hearts to this industry?"

In response to this criticism, the Academy released a statement that reads, "The Academy receives hundreds of requests to include loved ones and industry colleagues in the Oscars In Memoriam segment. An executive committee representing every branch considers the list and makes selections for the telecast based on limited available time. All the submissions are included on A.frame and will remain on the site throughout the year."

Hugh Grant's red-carpet interview with Ashley Graham went viral following the Oscars Sunday night (March 12th)—largely because it couldn't have been more awkward.

The Love Actually star offered curt responses to Graham's questions, no matter how much the model tried to turn things around. Fans took notice and shared their thoughts on social media.

"Hugh Grant is the biggest D bag for this interview. Hugh, If you don't want to be there go home. Worst Oscars interviews ever," one Twitter user wrote.

Blac Chyna opened up about undergoing breast and butt reduction surgery and is attempting to sway women away from getting silicone injections.

Sharing a video of herself at a doctor's office, the reality star said, "As y'all know, I've been changing my life and changing my ways … So, one of the things I feel like is going to take me to the next level is obviously taking some of these ass shots out."

OSCARS VIEWERSHIP IS UP 12 PERCENT IN 2023: Deadline reports that 2.1 million more people tuned in for the Oscars on Sunday (March 12th) than in 2022. 18.7 million people watched this year's show, compared with 16.6 million last year—an increase of 12%. However, the outlet reports that this is still low in the grand scheme of Oscars history. Still, with only 10.4 million tuning in for the 2021 event, it's an improvement.

DWAYNE JOHNSON COMMENTS ON DC UNIVERSE DROPPING HENRY CAVILL'S SUPERMAN: In a recent interview with Variety, Dwayne Johnson commented on Henry Cavill's DC exit, despite returning as Superman in Black Adam. "It's almost like when you have a pro football team and your quarterback wins championships and your head coach wins championships and then a new owner comes in and says, ‘Not my coach, not my quarterback. I'm going to go with somebody new,'" Johnson said.

RYAN SEACREST'S LAST DAY ON ‘LIVE WITH KELLY AND RYAN' IS ANNOUNCED: On Countdown to Oscars 95: The Red Carpet Live Sunday (March 12th), Ryan Seacrest's last day on Live with Kelly and Ryan was revealed to be April 14th. Mark Consuelos also shared that he will be stepping in to co-host the show with his wife, Kelly Ripa, on April 17th. "Nothing will change between the three of us, it's just Ryan will get to have his coffee later," Ripa said.

The "winners" for the 43rd annual Golden Raspberry Awards, also known as The Razzies, were announced on Saturday (March 11th).

Andrew Dominik's Blonde, which led the nominations with eight nods, won the awards for worst picture and worst screenplay. The Razzies based these decisions on the opinion that the film is "misogynistic, salacious and fallacious" and that it "shamelessly exploits the memory of the late Marilyn Monroe."

Snagging the awards for worst supporting actor and worst screen couple is Tom Hanks and his "Latex-Laden Face (and That Ludicrous Accent)" in Elvis.

Morbius also won two awards, as the award for worst actor went to Jared Leto and worst supporting actress went to Adria Arjona.

RAZZIE REDEEMER AWARD
Colin Farrell (From 2004 Worst Actor nominee to 2022 Best Actor Oscar Front-Runner)

The 95th annual Academy Awards were held on Sunday (March 12th) at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the three-and-a-half-hour broadcast aired live on ABC.

In the wake of last year's infamous slap, Kimmel joked during his opening monologue: "If anyone commits an act of violence anytime during this show, you will be presented the Oscar for Best Actor and be permitted to give an 18-minute long speech." He added, "Seriously, the Academy has a crisis team in place. If anything unpredictable or violent happens during the ceremony, just do what you did last year — nothing. Maybe even give the assailant a hug."

Everything Everywhere All at Once was the big winner of the evening, taking home seven awards in total including Best Picture. According to The New York Times, Michelle Yeoh made history as the first Asian actress to take home the award for Best Actress. "For all the little boys and girls who look like me watching tonight, this is a beacon of hope and possibilities," she said during her acceptance speech. "This is proof that dreams dream big, and dreams do come true."

Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis both won their first Oscars for Best Supporting Actor and Actress for their roles in the film. After receiving his award, Quan gave a shout-out to his mother. "My mom is 84 years old, and she's at home watching," he said. "Mom, I just won an Oscar." In an emotional speech, Quan added, "My journey started on a boat. I spent a year in a refugee camp. And somehow I ended up here on Hollywood's biggest stage. They say stories like this only happen in the movies. I cannot believe it's happening to me. This is the American dream."

Curtis teared up as she remembered her parents. "My mother and my father were both nominated for Oscars in different categories," she said. According to Deadline, Tony Curtis was nominated for Best Actor in 1959, while Janet Leigh was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 1961. "I just won an Oscar!" Jamie Lee exclaimed.

The Netflix film All Quiet on the Western Front also had a successful evening, taking home four awards in total including Best International Feature.

Brendan Fraser won the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in The Whale, commenting on his comeback story during his acceptance speech. "I started in this business 30 years ago. Things didn't come easily to me but there was a facility that I didn't appreciate at the time until it stopped," he said.

The evening's performances included the nominees in the best original song category. Honorary Oscar winner Diane Warren and Sofia Carson performed "Applause" from Tell It Like a Woman; David Byrne, Stephanie Hsu, and Son Lux performed "This Is a Life" from Everything Everywhere All at Once; and Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj performed "Naatu Naatu" from RRR. While it was reported that Lady Gaga would not perform at the event due to scheduling conflicts, the House of Gucci star sang "Hold My Hand" from Top Gun: Maverick. Lastly, a month after her Super Bowl Halftime Show, Rihanna performed "Lift Me Up" from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The winner was "Naatu Naatu" from RRR, making history as the first song from an Indian film to be nominated and win in the category, according to The Los Angeles Times.

John Travolta choked up as he remembered Olivia Newton-John before introducing the "In Memoriam" segment, accompanied by Lenny Kravitz on the piano, performing "Calling All Angels."

Another highlight of the evening included Halle Bailey and Melissa McCarthy taking the stage to reveal the first full trailer for the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.

A lot of ‘90s fans are excited about Matthew Lawrence and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas getting together, and the Boy Meets World star even announced earlier this month that the pair are planning on having children. On a recent episode of The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever with Chris Harrison, Lawrence's ex-wife, Cheryl Burke, commented on this latest development. Lawrence and Burke finalized their divorce in September of 2022.

"I'm not surprised at all," Burke told Harrison. "He comes from a huge family and I think that, especially his mom, there were definitely conversations, but I always had said, 'As long as I had to shove my body in a dance costume, me thinking about being pregnant probably isn't something I can talk about at the moment.'"

The Dancing with the Stars alum added that she wishes the best for the new couple. "I really truly hope he can actually have a kid with Chilli," she said. "I think that's amazing. I think he's wanted that."

Seth Rogen discussed how not having children has affected his life and career on a recent episode of The Diary of a CEO podcast.

"That has helped me succeed as well, definitely," Rogen said, explaining that he has more time and energy to focus on work. "There's a whole huge thing I'm not doing, which is raising children."

He continued, commenting on his relationship with his wife, Lauren Miller. "Some people want kids. Some people don't want kids … Honestly, you just are told, you go through life, you get married, you have kids. That's what happens. And me and my wife, neither of us were like that. Honestly, the older we get, the more happy and reaffirmed we are with our choice to not have kids."

The Superbad actor added, "We are in the prime of our lives. We are smarter than we've ever been, we understand ourselves more than we ever have, we have the capacity to achieve a level of work and a level of communication and care for one another, and a lifestyle we can live with one another, that we've never been able to live before."

Scream VI killed it at the domestic box office over the weekend, bringing in $44.5 million. This marks the franchise's highest debut yet. Deadline attributes the success of the "sixquel" in part to social media campaigns and Jenna Ortega's star power following Wednesday.

Creed III came in second place, pulling in $27.1 million—the best second weekend for a Creed movie. 65 came in third place, outperforming its projections with $12.3 million.
