Noah Schnapp revealed on TikTok Thursday (January 5th) that he is gay.

The Stranger Things star came out publicly in an eight-second video where he revealed what it was like to tell his friends and family about his sexuality.

He wrote, "When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know.'"

Tom Hanks doesn't have a problem with nepo babies. In fact, the Forrest Gump star says that entertainment "is a family business."

The Oscar winner spoke with Reuters Wednesday (January 4th) about the issue of nepotism when he was asked about having his four kids in the industry.

He said, "Look this is a family business. This is what we've been doing forever. It's what all of our kids grew up in. If we were a plumbing supply business or if we ran the florist shop down the street, the whole family would be putting in time at some point, even if it was just inventory at the end of the year."

He added "Doesn't matter what our last names are. We have to do the work in order to make that a true and authentic experience for the audience."

Bam Margera was pronounced dead during his December 2022 hospitalization.

The Jackass alum told his former co-star Steve-O on the latest episode of the Wild Ride podcast that he had a "gnarly" case of Covid and his "body was shutting down" when he was admitted to the hospital last month.

Margera said, "I went into four seizures, each one lasting 10 to 20 minutes. On the fourth one I bit my tongue so hard it was nearly fallen off. It got so swollen and puffy it wouldn't fit in my mouth. I was drinking the infected blood which gave me pneumonia as well."

The Viva la Bam star added that he was ultimately pronounced dead before being intubated on December 8th. He woke up five days later and stayed in the hospital for an additional three.

IRELAND BALDWIN MAY BE HAVING A GIRL: Ireland Baldwin appears to be having a baby girl. She referred to the unborn baby using female pronouns in a recent Instagram Story where the model said, "If one more person asks me to send a picture of my bump to them, I'm going to lose my mind. Because I don't have one. My child is so deeply nestled in there, and I'm tall, and there's just a lot of room for her in there."

WHITNEY CARSON IS HAVING ANOTHER BABY BOY: Whitney Carson has another baby boy on the way. The Dancing with the Stars pro revealed the sex of her second child in an Instagram video on Wednesday (January 4th). She and husband Carson McAllister are already parents to 2-year-old Leo.

JESSICA BATTEN IS EXPECTING: Love Is Blind alum Jessica Batten and her husband Ben McGrath are expecting their first child together. The founder and former CEO informed the WWE board of directors that he plans to name himself executive chairman of the company and former executives George Barrios and Michelle Wilson as new board members.

AUBREY PLAZA TO HOST SNL SEASON OPENER: Saturday Night Live will kick off the new year with Aubrey Plaza and Michael B Jordan. The White Lotus and Emily the Criminal star will host the series premiere on January 21st and the Creed actor will headline the January 28th episode.

Prince Harry claims that he and Prince William got into a fist fight over Meghan Markle.

Excerpts of Harry's forthcoming book, Spare, obtained by the Guardian, say the brothers got into a shouting match after the Prince of Wales referred to Markle as "difficult," "rude," and "abrasive."

According to the Duke of Sussex, the heir to the throne "grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor."

A 911 call log reveals that Jeremy Renner was "completely crushed" after a snowplow ran him over earlier this week.

According to an emergency log obtained by TMZ, Renner could be heard moaning in the background of the call and was experiencing heavy bleeding from his head. The log notes also said that after the Hawkeye star was run over by the snowcat, his chest collapsed, and his upper torso was crushed.

In the leadup to the accident Sunday (January 1st), the Avengers actor was removing snow from his driveway so that members of his family could leave. He was also clearing snow from a neighbor's driveway and helping a stranded motorist.

Renner is currently in the intensive care unit of a Nevada hospital, recovering from two surgeries for "blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries."

Stephen "tWitch" Boss was honored at a private ceremony on Wednesday (January 4th).

Family members, including his wife Allison Holker, gathered to say goodbye to the former Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ who died by suicide on December 13th at the age of 40.

A source told E! News, "A larger celebration of life for the friends the Stephen considers family will be put together in the future."

In a statemen to People at the time of his death, Holker said, "It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. With Kelly and Ryan that although Anderson Cooper turned around and waved on New Year's Eve, Cohen didn't bother say, "Hi!" The Bravo personality said on Andy Cohen Live Wednesday (January 4th) that he didn't even see Seacrest. He explained, "usually if Cooper's waving at Ryan, he'll say to me, ‘Hey, there's Ryan.' you know what I mean? Yeah. HUGH JACKMAN CAMPAIGNS AGAINST RYAN REYNOLDS' OSCAR NOMINATION: Hugh Jackman took to social media Wednesday (January 4th) to beg the Academy not to nominate Ryan Reynolds for an Oscar. He jokingly tweeted, "Ryan Reynolds getting a nomination in the best song category would make the next year of my life insufferable. I have to spend a year with him shooting Wolverine and Deadpool. STEPHEN AMELL TO REPRISE 'GREEN ARROW' ROLE: Stephen Amell will reprise the role of Oliver Queen (aka The Green Arrow), for the final season of The Flash. Variety has confirmed the actor will appear in the ninth episode of Season 9. He'll be joining other previously announced guest stars David Ramsey, Keiynan Lonsdale and Sendhil Ramamurthy.

Avengers star Jeremy Renner was helping others get around in the snow before he was accidentally run over by a snowplow on Sunday (January 1st).

In addition to moving snow from his driveway so that members of his family could leave, he was also clearing snow from a neighbor's driveway and helping a stranded motorist. CNN reports that members of his family were with him when the accident happened.

"He was helping someone stranded in the snow," Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve said to the Reno Gazette-Journal. "He is always helping others."

Gabrielle Union opened up about her first marriage on Monday's (January 2nd) episode of the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast. The Bring It On actress said her relationship with former NFL player Chris Howard was "just dysfunctional from day one."

"In our first marriage, neither one of us felt like the marriage should get in the way of our dating," Union said, adding that she "felt entitled" to cheat on Howard because he was cheating on her.

Matthew Lawrence and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas went Instagram official over the weekend, to the delight of many fans. The pair shared a joint post in which they happily danced and sang along to A-ha's "Take on Me" in matching pajamas.

A rep for Chilli told Entertainment Tonight that the pair have been dating for a couple of months. ‘ROMEO AND JULIET' STARS SUE PARAMOUNT PICTURES FOR SEXUAL ABUSE: According to court documents obtained by People, Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting, the stars of the 1968 film Romeo and Juliet, have filed a lawsuit against Paramount Pictures for sexual harassment, fraud, sexual abuse, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The lawsuit states that the pair "had no choice but to act in the nude with body makeup as demanded on the last day of filming," after the late director Franco Zeffirelli told them the movie "would fail" if they didn't. Hussey and Whiting were 15 and 16 at the time.

AL ROKER WILL RETURN TO THE ‘TODAY' SHOW THIS WEEK: On Tuesday's (January 3rd) episode of the Today show, co-host Hoda Kotb told viewers Al Roker would be returning to the show later this week. "We have some great news to share this morning: Al is coming back to the show," co-host Savannah Guthrie said. Kotb added, "People was like, ‘When, when?' Well, we have our day: He'll be here Friday. He'll be right here in Studio 1A." Roker temporarily left the show in November, when he was hospitalized due to blood clots in his legs and lungs.

CHECK OUT THE TRAILER FOR THE SECOND SEASON OF ‘THE HUNTERS:' According to The Hollywood Reporter, Prime Video dropped the trailer for the second season of The Hunters on Tuesday (January 3rd). In the trailer, Al Pacino's character says, "You bring Hitler to justice, and it's done, Jonah Lerman. You can finally be free." The second and final season, set to air on the streaming platform January 13th, comes nearly three years after the premiere of the first season.

TRACEE ELLIS ROSS JOINS EDDIE MURPHY FOR ‘CANDY CANE LANE:' According to Deadline, Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross will be starring alongside Eddie Murphy in the Prime Video holiday movie Candy Cane Lane. This is the first of three movies in a "three-picture and first-look film deal between Murphy and Amazon Studios." Details about the plot are being kept under wraps for now.

Avengers star Jeremy Renner was airlifted to a hospital in Nevada on Sunday (January 1st), following an accident involving a snowplow. One of his neighbors said the plow accidentally ran over one of his legs, causing him to lose a lot of blood.

The Hawkeye actor’s rep said he was in “critical but stable condition” on Sunday night (January 1st), adding that “his family is with him, and he is receiving excellent care.”

Renner lives near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe and has posted videos to social media showing him clearing out snow after storms in the past. “I have so much respect for Mother Earth, and Mother Nature … I expect to lose the fight but I’ll always give it my best shot #tahoelife life #snowthrower,” he captioned a video shared in December of 2021.

On Monday (January 2nd), Ellen DeGeneres shared a touching clip from the last episode of her show to Instagram—in honor of her longtime friend and costar, Stephen “tWitch” Boss. "I will forever be grateful that the show ended with tWitch by my side," she captioned the video. Boss died from suicide at the age of 40 in December.

In the clip, which originally aired in May of 2022, tWitch shared what he appreciated most about being part of the show. “What I’m feeling most of all is grateful and thankful ... Everybody put so much care into this show because you stepped out in courage, and we appreciate you," he said to DeGeneres. "And so I’m just so grateful that I got to be a part of this and be a part of this family.”

DeGeneres responded by sharing how the pair always said, “I love you,” to one another every time they said goodbye. "This atmosphere is a family," she added.

Just ahead of the release of his memoir Spare, Prince Harry sat down with Anderson Cooper for a 60 Minutes interview. In a clip shared Monday (January 2nd), Harry explains why he and Meghan Markle handled their issues with the British royal family in a public manner.

The Duke of Sussex said he tried to deal with the matter privately. “Every single time I tried to do it privately there have been briefings and leakings and planting of stories against me and my wife,” he said. “You know, the family motto is ‘Never complain, never explain.’ It’s just a motto.”

Harry added, “When we’re being told for the last six years, ‘We can’t put a statement out to protect you.’ But you do it for other members of the family. It becomes — there becomes a point when silence is betrayal.” The full interview is set to air on Sunday (January 8th).

Disgraced former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell and his wife Janet Von Schmeling are going their separate ways after four years of marriage. According to Page Six, the pair are headed for divorce, and Bell has begun treatment.

This comes after the Drake & Josh star was seen huffing balloons in his car in December, with his young son in the back seat. A source told the outlet that Von Schmeling has “had enough.”

Bell also pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years of probation and 200 hours of community service for child endangerment in 2017, after a woman accused him of sexually abusing her when she was 15. “He was calculating. He preyed on me and sexually abused me,” she said during the hearing. “He is a monster and a danger to children.”

ROBIN ROBERTS AND AMBER LAIGN TO MARRY IN 2023: On Monday’s (January 2nd) episode of Good Morning America, Robin Roberts shared that she and her girlfriend of nearly 18 years, Amber Laign, are going to get hitched in 2023. “I’m saying yes to marriage. We’re getting married this year,” she said. Roberts added that the pair “talked about” marriage in the past but decided to “put it off” once Laign was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. JORDAN DIED: Angela Bassett’s 16-year-old son, Slater Vance, issued an apology on Instagram Monday (January 2nd) for participating in a TikTok trend in which one falsely claims a celebrity has died and films another person’s reaction to the news. Vance told his parents that Bassett’s Black Panther costar Michael B. Jordan died. “I would sincerely like to apologize to Michael B. Jordan’s entire family, his extended family, and him directly as he is an idol of mine,” Vance said in a video. “Taking part in a trend like this is completely disrespectful. I don’t wish any bad ramifications of this of my actions upon his family nor my parents as they deserve none of the backlash.”

‘1899’ CANCELLED AFTER ONE SEASON: According to Deadline, the Netflix mystery thriller 1899 has been scrapped after just one season. Co-showrunners Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar announced the news on Monday (January 2nd), writing, “With a heavy heart we have to tell you that 1899 will not be renewed. We would have loved to finish this incredible journey with a 2nd and 3rd season as we did with Dark. But sometimes things don’t turn out the way you planned.”

GEORGE R.R. MARTIN SAYS SOME ‘GAME OF THRONES’ SPINOFFS HAVE BEEN SHELVED: Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin announced on his blog recently that some of the show’s potential spinoffs have been shelved, while others remain in development. He wrote that he is working on “several of the other [Game of Thrones] successor shows that we’re developing with HBO. (Some of those are moving faster than others, as is always the case with development. None have been greenlit yet, though we are hoping … maybe soon.
