STEPHEN COLBERT TO HOST CELEBRITY PICKLEBALL: Variety reports that Stephen Colbert with host Pickled, a two-hour celebrity pickleball tournament slated to air Thursday, November 17th on CBS. The contestants will include Jimmie Allen, Murray Bartlett, Dierks Bentley, Jaime Camil, Will Ferrell, Max Greenfield, Luis Guzman, Phil Keoghan, Daniel Dae Kim, Sugar Ray Leonard, Tig Notaro, June Diane Raphael, Kelly Rowland, Paul Scheer, Aisha Tyler and Emma Watson. Cari Champion, John Michael Higgins and Bill Raftery will serve as announcers and add commentary.

JOE MANGANIELLO TO DIRECT DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS DOC: Joe Manganiello will direct a documentary about the fantasy game with Kyle Newman. According to Variety, the film, backed by Hasbro and eOne, is billed as "the definitive documentary feature about the world's greatest roleplaying game."

WILLIE SPENCE DEAD AT AGE 23: American Idol finalist Willie Spence died Tuesday (October 11th) in a vehicle crash in Tennessee. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 23-year-old hit the rear of a tractor-trailer that was stopped on Interstate 24 East near Chattanooga. Spence, who was from Georgia, finished in second place on Season 19 of the singing competition show.

'GLEE' DOCUSERIES TO STREAM ON DISCOVERY+ AND ID: Deadline reports that a three-part docuseries detailing the scandals behind Glee is coming to Discovery+ and ID. According to the report, the series will have access to "key cast and crew members," who will share firsthand knowledge of what really happened behind the scenes.

TMZ reports that as Cardi B was celebrating her 30^th birthday party, actor/comedian Jamie Foxx showed up, but was turned away at the door.

Foxx brought along about 5 friends and the guard would not allow him to enter the party. As Foxx walked away, the door guard came running out to the street, asking him to come back. Foxx told him , "It's all good. I love you, but it was all too much." He then stepped back into his white Rolls-Royce and left.

According to a photo agency, Foxx was initially turned away because he had too many guests with him.

More details have emerged regarding Bill Murray's "inappropriate" behavior on the set of Being Mortal, which led to the film halting production in April. A new report shows that Murray paid $100,000 to settle a complaint by a younger female production assistant on set.

The report states that Murray allegedly straddled and kissed the staffer while they were in "close proximity" to a bed on the set. The kiss occurred through masks, due to COVID protocol at the time. Murray claimed he was being "jestful," but the "much younger" staffer said it was "entirely sexual" and that she was "horrified."

The unidentified woman filed an official complaint following the incident, as did another staffer who witnessed it. Searchlight Pictures paused production as a result.

Later in April, Murray admitted to CNBC, "I did something I thought was funny and it wasn't taken that way. The movie studio wanted to do the right thing so they wanted to check it all out, investigate it and so they stopped the production."

This news comes as Geena Davis revealed in her new memoir Dying of Politeness that she had a "bad" experience with Murray on the set of Quick Change. According to Vanity Fair, when Davis first met Murray at a hotel prior to filming, he insisted she lie on a bed and try a massage device called "the Thumper," despite her repeatedly saying no.

Kanye West's episode on The Shop won't be airing as the interview with Ye has been pulled by the show's co-host.

According to Andscape, Maverick Carter, the SpringHill Company CEO and LeBron James' co-host of the show, released a statement, saying, "Yesterday we taped an episode of The Shop with Kanye West. Kanye was booked weeks ago and, after talking to Kanye directly the day before we taped, I believed he was capable of a respectful discussion and he was ready to address all his recent comments. Unfortunately, he used The Shop to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes."

The statement continued, "We have made the decision not to air this episode or any of Kanye's remarks. While The Shop embraces thoughtful discourse and differing opinions, we have zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind and will never allow our channels to be used to promote hate. I take full responsibility for believing Kanye wanted a different conversation and apologize to our guests and crew. Hate speech should never have an audience."

It's worth noting that LeBron wasn't at the taping for the episode.

KANYE INVITED TO HOLOCAUST MUSEUM

In other news, following Kanye's anti-semitic comments, he has been invited to The Holocaust Museum in L.A.

According to Page Six, the museum wrote in a statement, "Words matter and words have consequences Ye. We urge you to come visit us at Holocaust Museum LA to understand just how words can incite horrific violence and genocides."

The museum added, "The Holocaust started with only words that sadly begat stereotypes, racial and religious tropes and blaming others and led to the murder of six million Jews. Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey are expecting their first child together! The couple announced the news on Tuesday (October 11th) alongside adorable Instagram carousels.

In the photos, the Flight Attendant actress and Ozark actor can be seen slicing into a cake with pink frosting on the inside. "Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023 ... beyond blessed and over the moon… I (love) you @tommypelphrey !!!," Cuoco captioned her post.

Other photos show the pair holding matching mugs that read "papa bear" and "mama bear." Cuoco and Pelphrey began dating earlier this year, and the Big Bang Theory actress told USA Today in May that it was "love at first sight."

On Tuesday (October 11th), Khloe Kardashian addressed "the ever-evolving bandage" she's worn on her face, revealing on her Instagram stories that she had a tumor removed.

Sharing a photo collage of the bandages she's worn as well as a photo with a red circle around a mark on her face, The Kardashians star wrote, "After noticing a small bump on my face and assuming it was something as minor as a zit, I decided to get it biopsied 7 months after realizing it was not budging."

She said she had it biopsied by two different doctors and that it was "incredibly rare" for someone her age. "A few days later I was told I need to have an immediate operation to remove a tumor from my face," she wrote.

Kardashian added that she's "grateful" Dr. Garth Fisher "was able to get everything." She added, "So, here we are… you'll continue to see my bandages and when I'm allowed, you'll probably see a scar (and an indentation in my cheek from the tumor being removed) but until then I hope you enjoy how fabulous I'm making these face bandages look."

Meghan Markle opened up about being at her "worst point" on Tuesday's (October 11th) episode of her Archetypes podcast. She shared that her husband, Prince Harry, helped her find a mental health professional at this time.

During the episode, Markle touched on mental health, suicide, sexual assault, and being called "crazy" with Constance Wu and Deepika Padukone.

"I mean, I think at my worst point, being finally connected to someone that, you know, my husband had found a referral for me to call," the Suits actress shared. "And I called this woman. She didn't know I was even calling her. And she was checking out at the grocery store. RYAN REYNOLDS AND COLIN HANKS ARE MAKING A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT JOHN CANDY: Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds revealed on Monday (October 10th) that he and Orange County star Colin Hanks are working on a documentary about the comedian John Candy. "With John Candy trending, I'll just say I love him. So much so, @maximumeffort is working on a documentary on his life with @colinhanks. Expect tears," Reynolds wrote on Twitter. A rep for Reynolds told People, "The Candy family is giving Maximum Effort access to his archive and home video footage," to make the film.

VIEWERS DEMAND TRIGGER WARNING FOR NETFLIX'S ‘LUCKIEST GIRL ALIVE:' Today reports that Twitter users are coming out en masse to demand a trigger warning for the new Netflix movie Luckiest Girl Alive, starring Mila Kunis. The film, which is currently on top of the Netflix top 10 chart, contains graphic scenes of gang rape and a school shooting. One person tweeted, "Heads up to anyone who wants to watch luckiest girl alive on Netflix. The movie is triggering, heavy and the sexual violence scenes are graphic. I hate it when they do this coz there was no trigger warning." Another wrote, "Hey @netflix a content warning would have been nice!!! Graphic sexual assault and school shooting in this movie and there was no content warning or anything at all?? That's messed up."

BLAKE SHELTON WILL EXIT ‘THE VOICE' AFTER SEASON 23: According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 23rd season of The Voice will be Blake Shelton's last. The country singer is the only coach who has been on the show for all 23 seasons. "I've been wrestling with this for a while and I've decided that it's time for me to step away from The Voice after season 23," Shelton said in a statement. "This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me. It's been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns, and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best. Many in Hollywood are outraged by the antisemitic tweet that got Kanye "Ye" West locked out of Twitter and Instagram over the weekend. Jamie Lee Curtis told Today on Monday (October 10th) that she "burst into tears," thinking of her grandparents after reading the tweet.

West's tweet, which has since been removed from Twitter, said that he was going to "go death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE."

Curtis responded to the tweet on Sunday (October 9th), writing, "The holiest day in Judaism was last week. Words matter. A threat to Jewish people ended once in a genocide. Your words hurt and incite violence. You are a father. Please stop."

On the Today show, the Halloween actress called West's words "abhorrent," adding that she hopes West "gets help."

Other stars such as John Legend, Sarah Silverman, and Jack Antonoff also slammed West for his remarks. Silverman tweeted, "Kanye threatened the Jews yesterday on twitter and it's not even trending. Why do mostly only Jews speak up against Jewish hate? The silence is so loud."

NeNe Leakes revealed on Monday (October 10th) that her 23-year-old son Brentt is having trouble speaking following a stroke he suffered last month.

In a video shared to her Instagram stories, Leakes said, "Two weeks ago today, Brentt had congested heart failure and a stroke. He's only 23, so he's really young for something like that to happen to him." Leakes said Brentt is now "struggling with speaking."

EILEEN RYAN DIES AT 94: Deadline reports that actress Eileen Ryan died on Sunday (October 9th) at the age of 94, a week before her 95th birthday. In addition to being an actress, Ryan was mother to Sean Penn, Christopher Penn, and Michael Penn. ‘SPIRIT RANGERS' CREATOR SAYS THE SHOW ‘IS NOW HEALING HER INNER CHILD:' The new animated series Spirit Rangers dropped on Netflix Monday (October 10th), and the show's creator Karissa Valencia spoke with Today about what the show means to her as a Native American. Spirit Rangers follows three Chumash/Cowlitz siblings as they protect a national park in California. "I feel like this show is now healing my inner child of feeling so not acknowledged that I existed in the present day just because I didn't look like what was in the history textbooks, so it was really great to give these traditional stories a home to live in and take a life of their own," she said. "A lot of the characters that we grew up loving are our first friends or the first people we'd look up to, so I was really excited that ‘Spirit Rangers' will show Native kids as heroes — as those friends you want to be or be like," Valencia added. KELSEY GRAMMER AND HIS DAUGHTER SPENCER TO STAR IN LIFETIME CHRISTMAS MOVIE TOGETHER: Kelsey Grammer is set to star alongside his daughter Spencer in a Lifetime Christmas movie this year. Grammer plays a businessman who prioritizes his work over his family. When he gets into a car accident on Christmas Eve, "Santa gives him twelve chances to re-do the day and repair the relationships in his life to find the true meaning of Christmas," according to Deadline.

KATELYN TARVER AND JOHN STAMOS TO STAR IN ‘OPEN BOOK' PILOT: Deadline reports that Katelyn Tarver and John Stamos are both set to star in Amazon Freevee's Open Book, a pilot based on Jessica Simpson's memoir, which sold over half a million copies in 14 weeks. If the pilot goes to series, Stamos is set to recur as the male lead.

Tom Cruise is expected to become the first actor to film a movie in the final frontier. The Top Gun: Maverick star is working with The Bourne Identity director Doug Liman on a project that will be partially shot in space.

This news was first announced in 2020, but plans were postponed due to the pandemic. The filming is expected to take place aboard the International Space Station. Universal Filmed Entertainment Group chairwoman Donna Langley told the BBC recently that Cruise could be "the first civilian to do a spacewalk."

Of the movie, she said it "actually takes place on earth, and then the character needs to go up to space to save the day." Langley added, "Tom Cruise is taking us to space. He's taking the world to space. That's the plan."

A presidential run for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is officially "off the table." The DC League of Super-Pets star told Tracy Smith in a CBS Sunday Morning interview that his family comes first.

"It's off the table. Yes, it is off the table," Johnson said to Smith. "I will say this, 'cause it requires a B side to this: I love our country and everyone in it. I also love being a daddy. And that's the most important thing to me, is being a daddy, number one, especially during this time, this critical time in my daughters' lives."

The Black Adam star continued, sharing that he wants to be present in his daughters' lives. "'Cause I know what it was like to be on the road and be so busy that I was absent for a lot of years when my first daughter's growing up in these critical age and this critical time in her life."

Following the success of the first Hunger Games film in 2012, Jennifer Lawrence admitted she felt she "lost a sense of control" in her career. The Winter's Bone actress spoke with Francine Stock recently as part of the London Film Festival's "Screen Talk" series.

On a recent episode of The Adam Corolla Show podcast, T.J. Miller said he won't work with Ryan Reynolds again because he had "really weird" interaction with him while filming Deadpool 2.

Miller called Reynolds "kind of an insecure dude" and said, "it's weird that he hates me." The She's Out of My League actor, who played Deadpool's friend Weasel, detailed an interaction that they had on set.

"We had a really weird moment on ‘Deadpool' where he said, ‘Let's do one more take.' And then, as the character, he was horrifically mean to me as if I'm Weasel. So he was like, ‘You know what's great about you, Weasel? You're not the star, but you do just enough exposition so that it's funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie,'" Miller said.

The Silicon Valley star added, "I would not have done ‘Deadpool 3' if they came to me and were like, ‘We want you to do ‘Deadpool 3,' and we're going to pay you twice as much.'"

The horror film Smile took the number one spot at the domestic box office for the second week in a row, beating out newly released films Lyle, Lyle Crocodile and Amsterdam. Deadline reports that Smile has the "second-best hold ever for an R-rated horror movie," behind Get Out in 2017.
