MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY RETURNS TO EUROPE TO AID UKRAINIAN REFUGEES: Entertainment Tonight reports that Maksim Chmerkovskiy has left Los Angeles and is now back in Poland to help bring aid to Ukrainian refugees. His wife, Peta Murgatroyd, posted a photo of Chmerkovskiy to her Instagram stories Saturday (March 19th), writing, "Missing you already." The Dancing with the Stars alum told CNN recently that he had "survivor's remorse" and that he planned to go back to join "efforts on the ground."

NORMAN REEDUS WILL RETURN TO THE SET OF THE WALKING DEAD: After suffering a concussion on the set of The Walking Dead earlier this month, Norman Reedus announced that he will be returning on Tuesday. Reedus took to Instagram to share the news, writing, "Thank u for the nice thoughts it's been a week. or two. PRIYANKA CHOPRA AND NICK JONAS CELEBRATE FIRST HOLI SINCE WELCOMING BABY: Page Six reports that Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra and singer-songwriter Nick Jonas celebrated their first Holi since becoming parents. MAURY ENDS AFTER 31 YEARS: People reports that, after 31 years on the air, the talk show Maury is coming to a close. Original episodes are set to air through September, and the show will live on in syndication in the future. Host Maury Povich told TVLine in a statement, "Six years ago when I was ready to retire, my NBCUniversal family asked me to continue the show. Even though I told them I was ready for assisted living, out of loyalty to NBCUniversal and my more than 100 staff and crew members, Tracie Wilson and I agreed to one more deal. I'm so proud of my relationship with NBCUniversal and all those who worked on the Maury show, but as I occasionally tell my guests: ‘Enough, already!'"

JOHN CLAYTON DIES AT 67: According to People, NFL reporter for ESPN John Clayton died on Friday (March 18th) at the age of 67, following a brief illness. ESPN's Chris Mortensen wrote in a tweet that Clayton died "peacefully," adding, "We loved John. We are mourning his loss."

ANIMATION GUILD MEMBERS RALLY IN BURBANK: According to Deadline, several hundred members of Animation Guild rallied in Burbank, California, on Sunday (March 20th) to demand a fair contract with Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers. Signs at the rally read, "New deal 4 animation" and "Cartoons are serious business," while the Animation Guild members chanted, "New contract, new deal," and "TAG United will never be defeated."

PRODUCERS GUILD AWARDS WINNERS ANNOUNCED: Deadline reports that on Saturday night (March 19th), the 33rd annual Producers Guild Awards were held at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. CODA won the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, signaling that the film could take home Best Picture at the Oscars.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have reached their goal of raising $30 million to help Ukraine amid Russia's Invasion.

The couple expressed their gratitude in a video on Instagram and wrote, "While this is far from a solution for the problem, our collective effort will provide a softer landing for so many people as they forget ahead into their future of uncertainty. Our work is not done, which is why we are raising the goal to $40 million."

Earlier this month, they pledged to match up to $3 million worth of donations to Airbnb.org and Flexport.org through GoFundMe.org in an effort to raise $30 million for the refugees fleeing Ukraine.

Arnold Schwarzenegger addressed the Russian people in a Twitter video about Vladimir Putin's "illegal war" on Thursday (March 13th).

The former California governor said, "I know that your government has told you that this is a war to denazify Ukraine. Denazify Ukraine? This is not true. Ukraine is a country with a Jewish president, a Jewish president I might add whose father's three brothers were all murdered by the Nazis. You see, Ukraine did not start this war. Neither did nationalists or Nazis. Those in power in the Kremlin started this war. This is not the Russian people's war."

In addition to praising Russian protesters, he also addressed the country's troops directly, saying, "To the soldiers who are listening to this, remember that 11 million Russians have family connections to Ukraine, so that every bullet that you shoot, you shoot a brother or a sister. Every bomb or every shell that falls is falling not on an enemy, but it falling on a school or a hospital or a home."

During an interview with Good Morning America, Wendy Williams gave an update on her health. Wendy is back in New York but she wasn't able to go on camera for the conversation. She said, "Health is very well. And I've actually had a few appointments. You know, I'm 57 but now. And I've got the mind and body of a 25-year-old."

She also spoke on her battle with Wells Fargo. As previously reported, Wendy's financial adviser Lori Schiller made an allegation that Wendy was "of unsound mind" and the bank requested a conservatorship because it believes Wendy is the victim of undue influence and financial exploitation." The host has denied this allegation.

She said, "Well, you know, when people want control of their accounts, they say anything including something crazy like that about me."

She continued, "They say that I need somebody to handle my account and I don't want that. I want all my money. I want to see all my money that I've worked hard for my entire life. My entire life. I don't lie. I don't cheat and I don't steal. I am an honest, hard-working person."

Wendy also spoke on returning to television, saying, "This is what I would love to say to my Wendy watchers: Keep watching because I'm going to be back on the Wendy show bigger and brighter than ever. Give me about three months. There are private things that I have to deal with and then I'll be ready to come back and be free and ready to do my thing."

Lady Gaga finally accepted the Best Actress award from the New York Film Critics Circle Wednesday (March 16th) night.

In a tearful, three-minute speech, the House of Gucci star thanked the organization for recognizing her and the women in her family who influenced her performance.

According to The New York Post, Gaga addressed her mother in the audience and said, "My Italian grandmothers, they taught me how to be tough, how to have endurance. My Italian mother, you taught me how to be fearless. And you taught me never to take ‘no' for an answer, or if somebody said ‘no,' you taught me to go find someone that says ‘yes.' And my sister, since we were young, and even now, when we talk she always reminds me that I always have to find a way to be brave."

Melissa Gorga announced on her podcast Thursday (March 17th) that she is "fine with" not being a part of Teresa Giudice's bridal party.

Gorga, who is married to Giudice's brother Joe, admitted in the newest episode of On Display that she first heard the news on Watch What Happens Live Tuesday (March 15th).

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star said, "I mean, if she's having Louie's sisters, well then, I guess that makes perfect sense for Teresa. I wish her nothing but happiness. 'BUFFY' ALUM SAYS JOSS WHEDON CREATED HIGH SCHOOL-LIKE ENVIRONMENT ON SET: A Buffy The Vampire Slayer alum has come forward to say that there is "a lot of psychological depth" to the way Joss Whedon treated attractive women on set. Danny Strong tells Even Ross Katz in his new book, Into Every Generation a Slayer Is Born: How ‘Buffy' Staked Our Hearts, that although he had a "positive experience" working on the former WB and UPN drama, "These stories, they're sort of atypical in creating this petty, almost high-school-like environment in pitting the pretty girls all against each other. I'm sure there's a lot of psychological depth about what that says about Joss."

TOM HIDDLESTON AND ZAWE ASHTON ARE ENGAGED: Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton are engaged. Rumors started swirling about the couple over the weekend after Ashton appeared at the 2022 British Academy Film Awards with a sparkling ring on her left hand. People confirmed Thursday (March 17th) that the couple, who began dating after starring in the 2019 play Betrayal together, is set to wed.

'DERRY GIRLS' SEASON 3 TRAILER DROPS: Derry Girls will return to Netflix for its third and final season after three long years. A trailer released on Thursday (March 17th) shows Erin and the gang back at Our Lady Immaculate College for another year. The official premiere date has not yet been released.

AMAZON WORKING ON DR. SEUSS-THEMED BAKING SHOW: Deadline reported Thursday (March 17th) that a Dr. Seuss-themed baking competition is in the works at Amazon. The streamer is developing an unscripted series that will see some of America's best bakers crafting cakes inspired by characters from The Grinch, The Cat in the Hat and other popular works by the beloved children's author.

'THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT' SEASON 2 TO DROP NEXT MONTH: HBO Max has released the first teaser for the second season of The Flight Attendant. When the show premieres on Thursday, April 21st, it will pick up one year after the events from Season 1, with Cassie Bowden (Kaley Cuoco) moonlighting as a CIA asset.

SHARON OSBOURNE ANNOUNCES NEW GIG: One year after leaving The Talk, Sharon Osbourne has picked up a new gig. She will be joining Piers Morgan on U.K.'s soon-to-launch talkTV network. Morgan made the announcement on Twitter Thursday (March 17), calling Osbourne, "opinionated, fearless, funny" and "maybe a little bit dangerous." The forthcoming "current affairs show," set to launch in Spring 2022, will be called, The Talk.

An appeals court ordered former Empire actor Jussie Smollett be released from the Cook County Jail on Wednesday (March 16th). He was just seven days into his 150-day sentence for allegedly faking a hate crime.

The justices ruled 2-1 pending the appeal of his conviction and on the basis that he posts $150,000 bond. The justices did not explain their decision.

Smollett's attorney, Nenye Uche, argued that Smollett was subject to threats and could face harm while imprisoned.

After he was originally sentenced, Smollett said, "I am not suicidal. And if anything happens to me when I go in there, I did not do it to myself. And you must all know that."

Fans thought they spotted Kim Kardashian's name tattooed on Pete Davidson recently, but it turns out there's more to the story. Kardashian told Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday (March 16th) that her name is actually "branded" on his chest.

"It isn't a tattoo, it's actually a branding," she said, revealing that her name was in fact burned into her boyfriend's skin. "He wanted to do something that was really different," she said, adding that Davidson wanted something more permanent, since he's "in the process of getting rid of his arm tats and his neck tats."

The SKIMS founder shared that Davidson got some tattoos in her honor as well. "He has a few tattoos, a few cute ones that he got … My favorite one, it says, ‘My girl is a lawyer.' That one's really cute," she said.

Samuel L. Jackson and his wife, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, opened up to People recently about the Pulp Fiction actor's struggle with addiction.

Samuel said, "I had basically moved into the basement of our brownstone … I was like the troll in the basement, and every now and then I'd come upstairs and hover around to do something. I was addicted and being crazy."

LaTanya insisted that he go to rehab and even made calls for him. "She didn't have to try to fix me … She could've just said, 'Get out,' and left me into the world, let me go and be whatever I was going to be," Samuel said.

LaTanya added that she felt compelled to help him. "I couldn't do that because I felt as though God had spoken to me and said, 'Now, you can't leave this young man like this. Give him some help. And then, if you feel like leaving afterwards, we'll talk about it,'" she said.

These days, the couple is still going strong. Together they are producing the Apple TV+ series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, starring Samuel as a man with Alzheimer's.

"It was important for us to tell this story and show that there's a life inside these people that needs to be explored," he said.

Despite being married to Saturday Night Live comedian Colin Jost and sharing seven-month-old baby Cosmo with him, Scarlett Johansson said she wouldn't have dated Jost in high school.

On The Drew Barrymore Show Wednesday (March 16th), Barrymore showed the audience an old picture of Jost from his teenage years. "Would high school ScarJo be into high school Colin?" she asked the Black Widow actress.

"Umm, I don't think so, no. Personally, my brother had that same haircut, both of my brothers, and I just can't. There's no way. I mean, who decided on that cut as a stylish thing? What hairdresser was like, 'I'll try this'?" Johansson said.

The Avengers star also commented on how timing played a role in their relationship, since Johansson had met Jost a few times on the set of SNL before they got together.

"It was just the timing was good. When we met, the timing was right. He's a very -- I think -- a cute guy, but the other times that I was there, I was in a relationship and I was not looking. This time, it was the timing was right. He looked differently to me because I was available," she said.

WILL SMITH TELLS BRADLEY COOPER HE'S ‘BEAUTIFUL:' People reports that, at the 2022 National Board of Review Gala, Will Smith told Bradley Cooper he was "beautiful" during an acceptance speech for Best Actor in King Richard. "We all have that thing in us. We have a dream and it seems crazy, the thing that you want to do … I look at Bradley Cooper. I've seen pictures of him when he was young — he didn't look like this! SELMA BLAIR POSTS TOUCHING VIDEO FOR MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AWARNESS MONTH: Cruel Intentions actress Selma Blair posted a video montage to Instagram Tuesday (March 15th) in honor of Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month. "March is #MSAwareness month. May we all find the strength to persevere," she captioned the post. According to SELF, Blair was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018.

THE BATMAN HBO MAX RELEASE DATE ACCIDENTALLY REVEALED: The Batman is scheduled to land on HBO Max in late April, and Deadline reports that this information was unintentionally released due to a tech glitch. The publication says the exact date was scrubbed, but they list April 19th as a possibility.

LISA KUDROW THINKS A ROMY AND MICHELE SEQUEL ‘WOULD BE REALLY FUN:" Entertainment Tonight reports that Lisa Kudrow is on board for a Romy and Michele's High School Reunion sequel. At the premiere of her new film, Better Nate Than Never, Kudrow told ET she thinks a sequel would be "really fun." She added, "And then a little like, 'What are they like at our age?'"

END DATE FOR THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW IS ANNOUNCED: Deadline reports that, after 19 seasons, the final episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show will air on Thursday, May 26th. First Lady Michelle Obama, Jennifer Garner, Channing Tatum, Serena Williams, Gwen Stefani, David Letterman, Diane Keaton, and DeGeneres' wife, Portia de Rossi, are all slated to appear in the show's final months.

SERVANT OF THE PEOPLE RETURNS TO NETFLIX: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's Servant of the People has returned to Netflix. The show was originally part of the Netflix library from 2017-2021, and it features Zelensky as a teacher who unexpectedly becomes president after one of his rants goes viral. The show ran for three seasons and ended when Zelensky decided to run for president of the Ukraine in 2019.

According to an incident report released on Tuesday (March 15th), there were no "definitive conclusions" when it came to the injury that led to Bob Saget's death. Saget died on January 9th at the age of 65, due to "blunt head trauma."

Chief Medical Examiner Joshua Stephany, M.D., who performed Saget's autopsy, indicated that "the amount of force necessary to cause the fracture, coupled with the fact that the skin on the back of the head was still intact, led him to believe that the injury was most likely caused by 'something hard, covered by something soft.'"

Stephany mentioned "a fall onto a carpeted floor" as a possible cause.

The report continued, "As mentioned earlier, most of the suite was carpeted. The headboard of the bed was lightly padded and set slightly out from the wall. These are listed here as possible mechanisms of injury, but nothing was located in the room that allows for a definitive conclusion."

On Monday's (March 14th) episode of The View, Evan Rachel Wood addressed the defamation lawsuit she's facing from Marilyn Manson, which came after Manson was accused of sexual abuse by multiple women.

Wood said that she isn't "scared," but that it's "sad" because "this is what pretty much every survivor that that it tries to expose someone in a position of power goes through."

"This is part of the retaliation that keeps survivors quiet. This is why people don't want to come forward." But, she said, "I'm very confident that I have the truth on my side and that and that the truth will come out."

Manson's lawsuit came just weeks before the release of Phoenix Rising, an HBO docuseries that, in part, details the abuse Wood experienced while she was in a relationship with him.

The Thirteen actress said of the docuseries, "I'm doing this to protect people. I'm doing this to sound the alarm that there is a dangerous person out there and I don't want anybody getting near him."

In a cover story for Vogue's April 2022 issue, Bella Hadid opened up about the cosmetic work she's had done in the past. The supermodel told the publication that she wished she hadn't gotten a nose job when she was 14.

"I wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors. I think I would have grown into it," she said.

She went on to discuss others' perceptions of her when it comes to plastic surgery. "People think I fully f–ked with my face because of one picture of me as a teenager looking puffy. I'm pretty sure you don't look the same now as you did at 13, right?" she said.

Hadid added, "I have never used filler. Let's just put an end to that. I have no issue with it, but it's not for me."

Kylie Jenner posted to her Instagram stories on Tuesday (March 15th), opening up about her postpartum struggles. Six weeks after giving birth to her second child with Travis Scott, the Kardashians star said, "Postpartum has not been easy."

"It's very hard … This experience for me, personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter." Jenner and Scott welcomed their first child, Stormi, in 2018. Their son, Wolf, was born in February of this year.

Jenner shared that she understands how moms feel "pressure" to return to their normal lives after giving birth. "It hasn't been easy for me, either. It's been hard, and I just wanted to say that so."

She ended her message with, "It's OK not to be OK."

Sandra Bullock got up close and personal with Channing Tatum while filming The Lost City. On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Monday (March 14th), Bullock said Tatum got "stupid naked" in the movie.

When Colbert asked Bullock if they used CGI for the scene where she helps Tatum remove leeches from his body, the Bird Box actress said, "No," and that she was "fully there."

"Full-on, face-to-face, with the landscape. I had to spend some time down there. Just making sure uh, no leeches. I had a lot to say to it," she said.

Colbert then said that her character reacted in a surprised way, suggesting that Tatum is "generously endowed," but Bullock replied, "Let's just say that I honestly didn't notice."

She continued, "When you are down there and you have two pages of dialogue, if you are looking directly at it, you will get nothing done. I looked at his left thigh. I had to look down where it might be, but I focused more on the left inner thigh."

MEGHAN MARKLE'S FATHER SAYS HE WOULD TESTIFY AGAINST HER: Page Six reports that Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, said he would testify against her in the defamation suit filed by Meghan's half-sister, Samantha Markle. "I've been trying for almost four years to get to see my daughter and her ginger husband in a courtroom face-to-face … I'd be thrilled to come to court and talk and defend my oldest daughter," Thomas said. Speaking of Meghan and Prince Harry, Thomas added, "It amazes me that they go on Oprah Winfrey for hours and sit there and exposed things that they shouldn't be exposing to anyone and I think it's so disrespectful to the royals … I am basically what you'd call on the queen team. And I have great respect for all the royals."

BRIAN COX SAYS CALLING JOHNNY DEPP ‘OVERRATED' WAS ‘HARSH:' In Succession star Brian Cox's memoir Pulling the Rabbit in the Hat, Cox writes that Johnny Depp is "so overblown" and "so overrated." However, People reports that Cox has since backtracked on sharing that sentiment. During Monday's (March 14th) episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Cox said, "I just thought I was being a bit harsh. You know what it's like — you go for the easy joke. And I went for the easy joke." Cox added that he "sort of regretted" what he wrote. On the same episode, Cox also recreated the bathroom scene from season two of Euphoria, playing Sydney Sweeney's role.

KRISTEN STEWART SAYS SHE LIKES TO READ OUT LOUD WITH HER FIANCE, DYLAN MEYER: In a recent episode of Entertainment Weekly's The Awardist podcast, Spencer star Kristen Stewart said she and her fiancé, Dylan Meyer, read out loud together. "Me and my girlfriend read East of Eden out loud, like cover to cover. She had never read it before, and it's kind of like my Bible. It's like a sacred text for me. Reading is a personal experience. You do it alone typically, and I was like, 'Dude, we should do this together, like every single word out loud.'" She added, "Honestly, we're going to do one book a year now."

JONATHAN BAILEY DISCUSSES SEX SCENES ON BRIDGERTON: According to People, Jonathan Bailey opened up about filming sex scenes for Bridgerton during a recent interview with The Sunday Times. Bailey said that the actors are given consent forms ahead of filming, which outline "which bit of skin we are going to show in each scene and where we will be touched and how." He added that, "It turns sex scenes into a choreographed dance."

FORMER PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA NARRATES NEW NATIONAL PARKS DOCUSERIES: Entertainment Tonight reports that a new five-part docuseries, Our Great National Parks, is narrated by none other than former President Barack Obama. The series will premiere on Netflix on April 13th.

MARVEL STUDIOS DENOUNCES FLORIDA'S ‘DON'T SAY GAY' BILL IN TWITTER POST: According to Deadline, Disney employees planned walkouts due to the company's "lack of compassion and advocacy" in regard to Florida's "Don't Say Gay" bill, while Disney-owned Marvel Studios posted a statement to Twitter on the issue. The statement reads, "We strongly denounce any and ALL legislation that infringes on the basic human rights of the LGBTQIA+ community. Marvel Studios stands for hope, inclusivity and strength; and we proudly stand with the community. Today, we pledge to continue our strong commitment as allies who promote the values of equality, acceptance and respect."

PAUL WESLEY CAST AS CAPTAIN KIRK ON STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS: TVLine reports that Paul Wesley will star as Captain Kirk on Season 2 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The first season is set to debut on Thursday, May 5th.

JULIETTE LEWIS JOINS THE CAST OF IMMIGRANT: According to Deadline, Yellowjackets star Juliette Lewis has joined the cast of the Hulu limited series Immigrant (working title), which tells the story of Somen "Steve" Banerjee (Nanjiani), the founder of Chippendales.

The Kim Kardashian and Kanye "Ye" West drama continues. On Monday (March 14th), West posted a photo of their eight-year-old daughter North's backpack to Instagram, which featured pins of her parents' faces and an alien head pin between them.

The Donda creator captioned the post, "This was on my daughters back pack when I was ‘allowed' to see her last week This is why I go so hard for my family I am wired to protect my family at all cost As the priest of my home Don't worry Northy God is still alive."

Kardashian decided to weigh in with a since-deleted comment. The SKIMS founder wrote, "Please stop with this narrative, you were just here this morning picking up the kids for school."

Her response comes just a day after West posted a video "calling out" Kardashian for letting North use TikTok, and texts between West and Kardashian's boyfriend, Pete Davidson, were made public.
