Chick-fil-A Is Still Our Favorite Fast-Food Spot but Almost Got Dethroned

Chick Fil A Donations

Chick-fil-A is ending donations to three groups that oppose gay marriage in an effort to halt protests and broaden its customer base. But the move has angered some of the fast food chain’s fans. Chick-fil-A has dominated this list for almost a decade.  But could their reign at the top be coming to an end?

The American Customer Satisfaction Index ranks the top fast-food places according to things like quality, speed, accuracy, and how polite the staff is.

They’ve been doing it since 1994, and Chick-fil-A just took the top spot for the NINTH year in a row.  But one other fast-food place might overtake them soon.

JIMMY JOHN’S jumped way up the list to finish second this year.  Chick-fil-A’s average rating was 85 out of 100, and Jimmy John’s got an 84.

The Top 10 are:  Chick-fil-A . . . Jimmy John’s . . . KFC . . . Papa Johns . . . Domino’s . . . Five Guys . . . Pizza Hut . . . Starbucks . . . Arby’s . . . and Dunkin’.

Out of the 23 restaurants they look at, McDonald’s finished DEAD LAST again, followed by Taco Bell, Sonic, Jack in the Box, and Wendy’s.

They also rank sit-down places.  The top five this year are Outback, Cracker Barrel, LongHorn Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse, and Olive Garden.
