Did You Wear One of the Most Popular Halloween Costumes of All Time?

Did you see a lot of Ken and Barbies yesterday?  By most accounts, they were the top costume this year.  But what about the most popular costumes of ALL TIME?  A new poll looked into it.

1,000 Americans were given a list of over 40 popular Halloween costumes and asked if they ever wore them as a kid.

It found the most popular kid’s costume of all time is . . . “cowboy” or “cowgirl.”  One in five adults went as that at least once when they were a kid.

It might seem old-school in 2023, but not really.  Plenty of people dressed up as Woody and Jessie from “Toy Story” this year.  So it’s still a thing.

Here are the 10 most popular kid’s costumes of all time:  Cowboy or cowgirl . . . witch . . . prince or princess . . . ghost . . . superhero . . . pirate . . . vampire . . . fairy . . . cat . . . and athlete.

Rock star, soldier, and angel just missed the Top 10.  3% of us dressed up as a PARENT when we were kids. 13% said they never dressed up for Halloween.
