Men Tell Secrets to Their Partner and Parents . . . Women Tell Them to Friends and Siblings

Chattanooga, Tennessee—(Wise Brother)
If you had a secret you needed to tell someone, who would you confide in . . . other than your dog.
In a new poll, 32% of people say their spouse or partner knows the “largest number” of their secrets. 18% say a friend knows the most secrets . . . and 11% of people claim they “don’t have any secrets.” (Sure . . .)
When broken down by gender, men are more likely to confide in a partner or a parent . . . while women are more likely to share secrets with a friend or a sibling. Women are also slightly more likely to confide in a child.
The breakdown was similar when asked who you are most likely to “talk to first when you have a personal problem.”
And when asked who knows you the best, 41% of people said “partner,” which was the most popular answer. But again, men were more likely to say that. 11% of women said it’s a CHILD . . . only 5% of men said that.
