70% Of Parents Feel Their Kid Is Experiencing More Burnout Than They Are

Chattanooga, Tennessee—(Wise Brother)
A survey of 2,000 parents of school-aged children found that 70% believe their kids are experiencing more burnout than they are.
66% said their child comes home with a “low mental battery.” Top signs of stress and burnout in kids include changes in sleep, changes in appetite, and physical complaints like headaches or stomach aches.
81% wish schools offered easily accessible mental health services. “Students spend a significant part of their lives in school – it’s the best environment to identify stress, burnout or behavioral challenges and address them immediately,” Stephanie Taylor of Presence said.
Parents polled said they were open to using technology or teletherapy to help their kids get access to mental health help.
