How Does The United States’ Minimum Wage Compare?

Chattanooga, Tennessee—(Wise Brother)
While minimum wage varies by state, the federal minimum wage is $7.25 per hour. How does this compare to other nations?
In France, the national minimum wage is $13.80. Australia and Germany are tied at $13.60. In Japan, the minimum wage is about $8.50. Minimum wage in Brazil is $2.40 per hour.
However, 15 states have a minimum wage of at least $13, which puts those states on par with most of Europe and Australia.
