A Guy Was Driving 117 Miles Per Hour . . . Because He Needed to Use a Buc-ee’s Bathroom

Some people wouldn’t be caught dead entering a Buc-ee’s bathroom.  Others are apparently willing to die to get to one.

A 30-year-old man in Florida named Omar Soliman was arrested for speeding on the interstate earlier this month . . . and he was FLYING.  He was clocked at 117 miles per hour in a 70 mile-per-hour zone.  And this was at 2:45 P.M.

Omar reportedly told deputies that he was trying to make it to the bathroom at Buc-ee’s.  But the nearest Buc-ee’s was roughly 61 miles away in Daytona Beach.

He was charged with reckless driving and super-speeding.

In a Facebook post, the Sheriff’s Office said, “While we all love the clean bathrooms, and the variety of tasty snacks at Buc-ee’s . . . if you’re going to use that as an excuse for speeding, you should probably make sure you’re actually close to it!”
