The Celebrity Beat…

In case you didn’t know, artists or their labels have to submit their music to be considered for a Grammy.  Well, this year some heavy hitters have opted to boycott instead.

For next year’s 2027 Grammys, don’t expect to see Drake, BTS, or Stray Kids nominated.  Drake hasn’t given an official explanation for why he won’t submit music, but it could have something to do with his Kendrick Lamar beef.

Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” won five Grammys last year.

BTS won’t be submitting music out of protest of the new Asian Pop category. Stray Kids didn’t give an explanation, but considering they are also K-pop, it wouldn’t be surprising if they’re following BTS’ lead.

The 2027 Grammys will go down February 7th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
