Amazon Now Knows If You Have A Flat Butt Or If You Have Any Friends?!
Every Amazon shopper knows that they collect a LOT of data about users. They don’t just recommend stuff you’ve bought . . . or clicked on . . . they already know what you will buy in the future.
But what does Amazon think . . . of your BOOTY?
Amazon has a new feature called “About You,” which allows you to “see the information they’re using to personalize your experience.”
There’s basic stuff, like where you might live . . . if you have a house or an apartment . . . how many people live in your household . . . what your hobbies may be . . . and if you have kids, pets, a garage, a garden, or a pool.
But some people are noticing some ODD entries, like: A woman who said it included, quote, “Has flat buttocks.”
She added, “I mean it ain’t wrong, but did you have to call me out like that?”
Other people are also sharing weird stuff from theirs, like:
“Does not trust people easily.”
“Has at least 48 years of practice using scissors.”
“Cannot keep real plants alive.”
“Has no friends.” And “Is a fifty-year-old man.” (The account holder said, “I’m a 40-year-old woman. With friends.”)
“Is obsessed with ultra-minimal one-bag travel.” (The person said, “True.”)
“Made a one-time specialty cheese exploration.”
“Treats cats as biological children.”
“Finds it hilarious when toys get stuck to ceiling tiles in the classroom.” (???)
